DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

.....................
I really did like the giant U pic from Roger.......................

Thanks, Steve. I just thought of something that made me chuckle.

Looking back at that pic it reminds me more and more of a Sesame Street type photo. I had no intention at the time of finding a giant letter, just looked like a neat sculpture to grab a photo with.

This entry is probably going to tank, but here's mine this week. Cropped, flipped and a bit blurred, but oh well.

This tank and all the other parts are being offloaded from the bed of my beloved (but now gone) '88 Toyota into Frank's basement in north Georgia. The 1100GK they came from went from the trailer to a shed. Their arrival initiated the GSR "Yellow Frank" bike project.

Make mine a double...

I realized when I looked at the preview that this could look 'shopped. So here's another view. This is at a military museum/park near State College, PA. About 45 min. from my house.

Great shot Rich. I was looking for someone to include that other kind of tank. I wanted to do it myself but didn't have such a pic and could not work a ride up to Ft Knox (Army Armor Center) into my schedule. :)

...... that other kind of tank.
Thanks
I've been waiting for a theme where I could use it. I usually try to get a new pic for the theme each week. Have't been riding and taking pics for very long. So I'm just happy to have a pic in my limited "archive" that meets the theme.:D

NOT AN ENTRY
I remembered taking a pic of a bike I looked at back in 2009 when I was seeking to upgrade from my 550.
This one did not pass the test.

More "tank" to this picture.

Triumph Trident still my favourite all-time tank.
Nice pic, Sandy.

One thing I didn't notice until I posted the picture is that of the six tanks they're all different manufacturer's. '67 Bonniville is still my favorite, same colours, different pattern.

Were you mad at that tank dave?!? LOL
Ha!
Well, was occupied in thought, trying to pose the scene; position bike in shade, but have me in the direct sun, where to position myself, where to hold camera... and such.

OK Camera Jockeys...It's Friday....Let's vote.
But first, the theme by Mr. Murdoch...
This week let's do a theme on "gas tanks". If you have a bike you have one of these so hopefully we get a big entry list.
Maybe a new paint job, a reflection in the tank, raindrops beading on a fresh waxing, tanks hanging from the rafters. It doesn't even have to be a GS tank.

More to follow....
