DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Wonder if you were to quote it anyway, if quoted pic would reappear if/when the original did.

I noticed same with MrsSteve (post 4595). Maybe at another time the pics will reappear. Wonder what the situation is; Sunspots...??

To assist in jogging folk's memory of the pics (assuming have seen them during the week):

Trevor's:
Close up view showing top portion of tank and some of the side, distinctive Cooley striping in view, one hand holding the marker, and the signature, other hand there looking like is there to steady the person holding the marker.

MrsSteve:
Side view of most of the tank, showing original coloring and added costumed pin striping swirly design.

Curious indeed. The pictures are missing from these quoted posts, but the posts do not appear to have been edited.
Easy one for me...Wes Cooley signing my gas tank. :)

I can play in this one. This is my bike, not long after it got painted in 2006.
It is unfortunate that there is a shadow from the brake lever, but this is the best "tank" shot I have.

The top of the tank shows my love of angels.
(The first picture is my entry.)

Also Bob -- thanks for compiling the pictures! You got my blue&gold entry pic as well as my rusty not-an-entry pic.

Also also -- I count twenty entries, a record-breaker for 2019. Nice!

I'm voting for Sandy (even considering Trevor's and Mrs. Steve's missing pix). I like that lineup and variety.

Thank you...and the rusty pic is gone...

(It is getting a little tricky to sort out the extra photos we've been getting in the thread. Not complaining, just need to slow down when I compile.)

Nuggetsdad for me this week. I thought it was a trick until I noticed the subtle differences in each bike.

Great shot!

I did like several others as well, so tough to choose just one.

I agree. Even though Nuggetsdads entry appears to be taken with a camera like mine, the composition with its ripple and flow carries it. :encouragement:

Something is up with photobucket this morning, sorry guys

Do they not understand just how much is at stake? This is THE, "Photo of the Week Contest," at the GSR?

The bastards!:(

Many impressive photos, and all I would say "tank" or "tanks" when describing the scene.
Lots that can be said for many of them.

But I will be brief (yes, that is possible) and encourage Spyder.

And Vote for Baatfam.
That is definitely a picture of Tanks, tanks lined up. Frame full of tanks. All well exposed, all shiney, all well focused, but yet can see the depth of front one, middle one, back one.
