DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Happy Friday, GSR! Let's review this week's photos and vote.
The theme of the week by KiwiAlfa:

...the theme is 'favourite' or 'favorite' for the USA.

Good turnout this week. Many fun photos. Let us know if anything is amiss.

Don't forget to vote...

Voting Carter Turk. I've seen snowbanks that high on roads while snowmobiling in Montana and Wyoming. Very cool to get your bike up there.

**Honorable mention to marvinsc** cool pic too.

Hardest wk. I remember to pick, all are favorites in their own world. I Kept getting pulled back to the old blue "78" GS1000C, (standard) no doubt one of my favorite bikes I ever owned and his is almost identical to the one I had. Both with dual front brakes, lower bars, standard exhaust, only difference I can see, mine had an "E" model seat... Voting Steve Murdoch, It may be embarrassing to Steve, but this week we were thinking alike.

Good variety of photos. Enjoyable.

I liked that CarterT showed that is a favorite pics by showing that the print is on display.
(I should have thought of that, I have some hanging on display.)

For the photo I enjoy the most, will vote for Bob baatfam.
THe nice scene, little distraction, suppose is a road there between the creek and the hill slope, can imagine the water flowing, nice scene, presents the wonder of how got on other side, enjoy looking around the scene can imagine being there, then notice the bit of reflection of the bike.

I'd say Baatfam...has a nice quiet setting feel too it & also if his feet got wet to take the picture or walked over bridge near by or had to take off his boots. & wade across.

Great minds thinking alike on BIKES? You bet!
SaltyMonk brake upgrade was/is a great upgrade mechanically and cosmetically.

gustovh. Seen this shot many times as I’ve been going through the past years of the game. I’m always happy to see it. Probably my favorite.

They're all really good and why they are a personal favorite isn't a mystery. It's come down to a toss up for me between Gustovh and Rich82GS750TZ. Both would make great album cover art works (remember them?). Really tough, but I'm throwing my vote to Rich.

Good Saturday morning GSR.
The people have spoken and have chosen their Favourite.

9 pics, 10 votes:
Carter Turk - 1
dgates1 - 2
gustovh - 2
Rich82GS750TZ - 1
steve murdoch - 1
Baatfam -3

For everyone else, thanks for playing.

If someone would please confirm the count, I'm sure Bob is anxious to announce the next theme.

see POTW Log to see the whole sordid history of the game.

Back in a few....

This week's theme: Inappropriate/unsafe/illegal parking

Interpret that as you will...

I think those poles mean don't park here.
