A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Saturday Vote Tally Day

In doing the tally this morning, at one point there was a 3 way tie (Steve-Sandy-Dorkburger) at 3 votes each, then 2 more votes come in to make a 2 way tie at 4 votes each, then another vote that didnt break the tie. So that was at the end of Friday, was a tie. Then this morning another vote came in to break the tie.

Talley:
Steve 4, Sandy 3, Jedz 2, Baatfam 1, Dorkburger 5, Jabcb 1.

Somebody can check my count, but Congrats Mr Glen Dorkburger.

Busy morning, plus I was unprepared......

Thanks all. Definitely a good batch of pictures.
For lack of any great ideas, I'll go with a Spring theme. Flowers, trees, etc. Sgns that the riding season is beginning for some, or winter riding gear can be stored away for others.

Since there seems to be a passing interest in the scooter, here is a shameless plug for the mild clean up and going thru of it.

Sorry, i know this is a "shocking" interpretation of the subject but somebody had to do it!
Freshly powdercoated "spring" ready to fit on the GS for the summer season.

Adrian, you and my son tend to think alike. :encouragement:

His high school class was given a project and they were told to "think outside the box".
He raised his hand and asked "what box?"

............ a Spring theme. Flowers, trees, etc. .....................

This time of year can see roadside daffodils in various places. Is spring time, not really early spring time. Have been riding off and on for a few weeks.

Finding some of these roadside daffodils is not too hard, but finding some real close to the road (so bike is close), and somewhere where the ditch is not soggy wet is the challenge.

Spring in the meadow....I took this pic probably 5 years ago....Always liked it...it was near my house on a little farm twisty road I like to take....it was an early spring evening.

Not too much of spring “looking” stuff happening around here yet, but I will go out again and have a look...

I managed to find a tree in bloom last night. Blooming trees are almost gone though. I was thinking, well springtime brings lots of wind, but nobody flies kites anymore apparently. Guess I could have captured a rolling tumbleweed, LOL.

Anyway, here's my pic for the week.

Signs of Spring: flowers, gardening, fingerless gloves, and allergy pills.
I wanted to dust some pollen on the tank but I ran out of time.

I've been wanting to use this for a long time and though TKent02 hasn't been around in awhile, hopefully he won't mind either.

Springtime ride in Colorado several years ago when he let me ride his 700E. I wish I could have bought it when he sold it but that day firmly set into my mind that this will be the next early GS bike I get.

What are we looking at? It looks like you're riding a tree! not a GS700... hummm interesting.
