Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Blue Sky... This picture is from my 2017 ride to Bisbee Arizona. I love it out west.
No GPS, just a clock and a odometer.

I believe this is the same sign. We were on our way to see the Morenci mine and ride hwy 191 up to Springerville.

Not the same sign Roger... My picture was taken on rt80 off of interstate10 just west of Lordsburg heading south towards Douglas Arizona. What was interesting was seeing all the Border Patrol along that route. I would ride by them and wave, they'd just wave back. They were probably wondering what's this Ohio boy doing heading to the Mexican border! They never stopped me to ask.

They don't care about the journey DOWN. They only worry about what you are bringing BACK to Ohio. I have done a lot of work out west. Every time I have driven out there, I have been pulled over on my way back. ALWAYS ask me if I have a problem with their dog having a sniff around vehicle. "Not at all officer"...

Top shelf photos this week.
The last one listed from DaveR get my vote.
Just makes me want to get on the bike and go explore the next couple Points off in the distance.

Yes, really tough choices this week. I'm biased towards mine but only because that's a natural feeling. I love the way Burque's shot captures the moon perfectly spaced between the towers like a football through the goal posts. And I agree with Steve about Dave's picture being so inviting.

But I am going to go with the first picture that just said something to me - RICH82GS750TZ

Good morning,
Voting for DaveR as well. I like the background, the fog, and how the bikes breaks the horizon line.
a good batch of images for sure.

I have to go with Jedz this week. The scenery, and the rich color of the sky in contrast to the snow. Not to mention his insanity to ride in that kind of weather just baffles me to no end, LOL...

Jedz for me, that Blue really pops against the snow.

I'm going with DaveR this week. Sort reminds of a lake I stopped at in California many years ago. There was clear blue sky reflected in a mirror smooth lake and just enough mist in the distance to block out the far shore. You literally could not tell where the sky started in lake ended. It was a very surreal feeling like one was standing on the edge of the world looking out.
