A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Voting for Jedz. I don’t know the context, but I envision bringing flowers to a loved one to brighten their day. I’m also wondering about what in the long litany of Jedz rides that one is.

Happy Saturday Morning, GSR! Let's count 'em up!

With two votes each, Jedz123 and dorkburger
With three votes each, Steve Murdoch and Redman/Rodman

And with five votes, for the win, Rich78GS750TZ

Congrats Rich!

Thanks all.

I?m guessing some of you, like me, keep the bike inside during the winter. But that garage floor real estate is precious for those of us who take on home renovation winter projects. My bike helps me by becoming a coat rack, a saw horse, or a place to lean pieces of drywall.

This week?s theme is Double Duty.

Ha. We did some cleaning out last winter. There were so many old blankets and sheets on my bike that if the garage roof collapsed, the bike probably would have been unharmed.

I wanted to go for ride.
Wife wanted to take doggie for a walk.
So we went for ride, all of us, to a park, to take doggie for walk.
Double Duty.

No, "Double Duty" is not a reference to the load on the suspension system.

Dave, I struggle with math as it is. Who sat where? Dog in pet carrier, then in the top box, or on wife’s lap?

Double Duty;
A reliable mode of transportation.
A life stress eliminator. 🙂

I'm not sure where that photo was taken. I think South Carolina somewhere

Are you sure you didn't chase off a brown GK to get that spot? I'd swear I've seen that peir before. :-k

Roger Burque has a good observation. That be Grand HAven State Park, just inside the main enterance, campground on the right, beach/pier ahead. GH pier is quite unique/recognizable by the beacon tower inner light and the big blockhouse enterance light. Lake Michigan does have appearence of ocean, in that cant see across it (60-90 miles) and takes up view all the way to left and right (175miles).

about same spot, (but closer to campground, and time of year that campground empty)

Norm, I recall your visit a few years ago. You need a return visit sometime that I am home.

Dog in carrier, on wifes lap.
The math could be applied to load on the suspension (I have learned to adjust suspension before she comes out of the house, not while she is standing there).
Or the could apply math to remaining length on the seat (which would involve a negative number).

Doggie ride on similar occassion
