• This forum allows conversation on non-controversial topics, therefore no politics or religion. "The Campfire" is an area meant for casual, civil discussions. Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

The words insight and incite are pronounced the same. But one of them will get you banned and the other will not. Before hitting the Submit button be certain which of the two better describes your post.

    Welcome!
Register to access the full functionality of the GSResources forum. Until you register and activate your account you will not have full forum access, nor will you be able to post or reply to messages.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

So do we have a theme? Rob, don't make me regret giving you the tie breaker vote. ;)

Oh, I've got a doozy. Two, actually. Cat, reaching from behind, trying to turn my face 180 degrees back to look at her. One has even got some blur to show the movement of her paw.

But first, I'd like to thank the Academy, the Executive Producers, my agent...

Anybody see a pic? I got that small amount of code by going to share in flickr, than clicking "copy link," than pasting in GSR.

When I click on the curved arrow (share) in flickr, it no longer takes me to a screen with the pic and 3 choices (bb code, embed, etc.). It takes me to text menu, and the best guess to me is "copy link."

And I know as soon as I click "paste" in GSR and only see a few 'word's of code that I failed, I don't even need to verify in 'preview.' Conversely, if I see 4 or 5 lines when I paste in GSR, I know I've succeeded.

"Furry friend: 'Pay attention to ME!'"

I'm assuming the links work for all who have flickr, correct? Perhaps someone could paste the actual photo(s) into the GSR.

And should I 'three-peat,' I will resign at noon on that day. Gerald Ford will then take the oath of office...

I am not a crook. And my daughters loved that dog...

Rob, theme is great, neither of your photos is suitable for the game, as there is no part of your motorcycle in either shot. But we’ll run with theme anyway: "Furry friend: pay attention to ME!"

You’re not getting so see the BBCode because you’re in the mobile version. I know Bob has posted a few time and I’ll try to find his screen shot showing how to switch from mobile to full site, so you can get the BBCode.

Here’s the first pic you posted anyway:

Here’s what Bob posted a few times about making the Flickr Full site appear in your phone, instead of the Mobile version.

So there are two different mobile apps for Flickr. One is the Flickr app, downloaded through the play store or something, and a mobile browser version.
The app opens the app, which you cannot get the BBCode. But if I open my browser (Google) and go to flickr.com, I get a different mobile version.
The browser mobile web page, has a desktop site option (see below) under the three dots to the upper right. After you click it, you get the normal web site.

20210618_103625.jpg Here is a Furry Friend I met at Yellowstone National Park last summer. He seemed content staying on his path. However he was looking at the Yamaha with bad intent! I wouldn't want to get much closer to the Big fellow. 🌞
