Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Happy Friday, GSR!! Let's review our photos and vote...

First the theme of the week by Storm64:

YOUR BEST!

1st place in Vintage Motorcycle at the Canfield Fair.

Maybe my best vista shot with bike, and I have some good ones.
Definitely the best bike I’ve ever owned.
Best riding weather of the season so far.
How about the best image I made on this evening’s ride.

This sidecar is one of my best crackpot ideas that actually worked pretty good. I won't bore you again with my sunset pic.

I thought this was the best pose of my GK and best background.
rXEY1FW.jpg

This was the best setup for long trips on my 850 (and one of my favorite pics of it.)

Best photo of my '78.
Another example of "never should of sold that bike".

My best "On the road" shot. Stuck in a traffic jam on I-65

Best pic of my 1150. It actually doesn't look like the POS that is here. This is it's better side too.
Suzuki GS by Glen Brenner, on Flickr

That time we actually came in first...

My 78 750EC. Which at the age of 19 years old I over bored to 819cc using OEM 1.0mm oversize GS425 pistons and rings. My first engine modification and VM tuning excursion. Ran strong and scared a few bunnies out on the street. Should never have sold it.

That should be all of them. I left in the descriptions, unlike normal. Hope that's OK.

Let us know if anything is amiss, and don't forget to vote.

Well that wasn't very nice of me to forget you.....Sorry about that Norm.:o
All fixed now. :victorious:

Well, for me this week between Baatfam and storm 64, they both have "proof" they were best. storm 64 had judges think, decide, assume, then say he was best. I'm voting Baatfam where the clocks showed cold hard proof he was best.

Burque73 gets my vote this week!
That motorcycle is so photogenic. It's so classy with the gold pinstriping and all.

All fantastic pictures. It was definitely hard to decide this week!

Baatfam’s pic gives me a warm comfy feeling, he gets my vote. Now that my no vote streak has been broken feel free to vote for me for the win.

LOL....well, I deserved that...:o:o:boxing:

Two votes, wow....Guess I ran away with this one, didn't I? Back in a bit with something.;)

OOhhh, Twice (double) the votes of anybody else, that's a lot. You did run away with it Congrats

This week, let's go with "something new"

A new tool, new helmet, new tires, new do, new roadway, new dog, etc., etc.

And of course, this is a way to show off my new bike...again:rolleyes:

(With new luggage parked next to some new asphalt )

Spring 2020.. First ride with new jacket (after bashing-crashing-abrading-ripping old one in 2019).
Also first ride under stay-at-home orders.
Start of new beard growth maybe only new-thing that is observable in the photo.

When looking thru pics, and I see this pic, what comes to mind is the new jacket.
But I think I took picture to show that maybe I should have been raking the yard more than going for ride.
