Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Ok, guess I'll kick it off. Happy Friday, GSR. I think the cold and snow many of us are experiencing has limited the photo submissions. But that's how it goes. Good on those that were able to get one in. Fun Theme from Trevor - "famous vehicle/Hollywood"

The Goodyear Blimp? It's a famous vehicle...

throwing my vote for Bob baatfam.

Thanks Rich...I've been off schedule all week...Didn't even think about it being Friday.

Voting for Redman, because I've been there.;)

I still haven't gotten the hang of the multi-quote feature. I tried a few times after the software change and said the hell with it.

Voting for storm 64 for thinking outside the cage.

Anything to do with Andy Griffith I'm on it. Voting Redman for sure. Anybody know why Mayberry had a stop sign on a st. where there was no intersecting st.?, or what other character Howard Morris played on the show other than Ernest T Bass.

I was waiting to see who posted the Cop car at the Mayberry Cafe in Danville Indiana. I haven't been there as I am coming into Indiana from the other direction on the way to the Bedford Rally. Voting for Dave (Redman)

Trevor and the GOT (Grand Old Torino).

And his '81 11E is no slouch either (world's fastest production motorcycle).

Your friend,
Huggy Bear

Williams Bridge, west of Bedford, three years ago.

(maybe I'll find another pic)
.

I just found a pic of us all at a covered bridge. Can't see either of my bikes behind your Beemer though. Someone went, um, nuts, spray painting male anatomy images all over that bridge :(

If you remember, that was the first time my son, Adam, dropped my FJR on that trip. Didn't get the side stand down or something. He got it back upright without any trouble. His next mishap was trying to follow three other guys, guys that had been riding two, maybe three times as long as Adam has been alive, through some twisty roads. He definitely learned to ride his own ride after that one.

I felt so bad about that mishap. It was my fault for riding like that...
But, Adam was riding really well. The road threw everyone for a curve. (No pun intended).
It was a long up hill straight. Then a left turn, a short straight into another left. I think everyone ran it wide. Adam just couldn't pull the big FJR into the turn.
Like I said, I really felt bad about the whole mishap...
