• This forum allows conversation on non-controversial topics, therefore no politics or religion. "The Campfire" is an area meant for casual, civil discussions. Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

The words insight and incite are pronounced the same. But one of them will get you banned and the other will not. Before hitting the Submit button be certain which of the two better describes your post.

Register to access the full functionality of the GSResources forum. Until you register and activate your account you will not have full forum access, nor will you be able to post or reply to messages.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

**EDIT - NOT MY ENTRY**

Not my motorcycle… but it was my hospital where I manage facilities. Walked in and thought “this should be good” as to what reasoning the owner thought it would be a good idea to bring inside a gas fired engine and a tank full of fuel next to an electrical panel of a HOSPITAL!!! There wasn’t even any bad weather at the time. (**Will change if not allowed due to not my bike**)

David. I'm usually one that says "screw the rules", but just FYI- This is actually a rule laid out on post # 1.
7. Any bike can participate... not only GS's (as long as it was yours when the pic was taken)

- On the other hand, if you hadn't mentioned it, who would know?:-\\\

Well heck. My entry doesn't qualify then... It wasn't my motorcycle when I took the picture...

Sorry grandma, but you were doing 27 in a 25mph ...

Norm, I say leave it up to the voters if you want to put that pic of your new Kawi up. You did buy the bike. I'm not trying to be the pic-of-the-week-game Nazi. I'm just making sure we're all on the same page and understand the rules before we decide to break them. I'm guilty too. I once posted a pic of my wife on a bike I had rented for the day during our honeymoon on Mykonos.

That's not the only time you've cheated Rich. 2nd rule says Saturday to Thursday is submission time, Everyone else can post one ("and only one") picture that meets the theme. I remember a few times you posted more than one picture that met the theme. OOhhh, Hope I didn't cheat, I entered and "I" never even posted a picture.

Yah...The your motorcycle needs to been in the photo rule, is one of the basic rules of the game.
You can break the rule if you wish, but we don't have to vote for your photo if it doesn't meet the rules.
We have no way to "disqualify" entries.

Now that's funny, "We don't have to vote for your photo if it doesn't meet the rules as opposed to "We don't have to vote for your photo if it does meet the rules... Exact same thing, only different.

Rules are rules, without them we are nothing but animals. I'll submit a different pic for my entry...

My 18 year old mechanically "un-inclined" son helping me take the exhaust off to replace the header gaskets.

Can you see the concern in my eyes?

"Oh, this should be good" A good season!
First ride on the new to me Triumph for the 2025 season.

I'll be in that neck of the woods during Brown county this year, I'll try to make an appearance.
Hoping to get the first 20K miles of issues shaken out before I depart for the Heartland this coming June.
Cheers,

Welcome to the weekend, GSR! Let's review these photos and vote.
First the theme of the week by Dave (Redman):

Something that makes you say "Oh, This shoud be good."

And that should be all of them. Good turnout, and great photos this week. Thanks everyone!

Let us know if anything is amiss, and don't forget to vote.

All great pics everyone! I'll vote for marvinsc. Wondering where that rubber mallet(anti-tailgate device) ended up...?

Well, I had wanted to vote for Norm's sandwich, but he took it down. His loss.

Instead, I'm voting for Bob Baatfam, and the hidden mysteries of that tunnel.

I've got to vote for Mr Marvinsc and his tie down job although Rich82GS750TZ is a close 2nd.
