A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Hmmm....
Well, I can honestly say I've never packed a lunch for a bike ride.
A bottle of water and a granola bar, maybe, but not a lunch.
We have some good weather coming up this week, so I'll figure something out.;)

Not sure I have either

Well this is the closest I could get....this way in May 2023 in Marble Canyon at Lee's Ferry lodge...this was the deck to our motel room. Awesome....stayed there again last year

Red wine with graham crackers?!? You Canadians kill me. Everyone knows you drink white wine with crackers. Or Mexican beer.

Not solo but I’ll take it Trevor. Good pic. I’m jealous. I’m almost always riding solo. I definitely need to make some local friends that ride. :sorrow: I am doing a local benefit ride coming up in a few weeks. Maybe I’ll meet some people. But I know that most of the other riders will be your typical weekend cruisers/bar hoppers and not the type to want to go on off-road adventures.

Luckily I have a ton of riding buddies. And we have weeded out any bad apples years ago. Love riding with my buddies. Love my solo rides to Ontario each year too

I don't eat lunch but I do take my bike out on occasion when I take lunch break. I'll have to play with this one. Weather is not great here, working through a nasty Ice storm currently. I was riding yesterday though!

Enjoy the lovely weather, if you have it!

Best,

Being primarily a solo rider, I just bomb the road till I’m hungry and find some place to stop and chow down. Those days are getting fewer unfortunately. I will have to dig for this one.

Some times part of the ride is stopping at some sit-down resteraunt.
SOmetimes part of a ride is grabbing some quick take-out.
Sometimes I take along a sandwich or snacks for a stop along some roadside stop.
Have pics of a few different types of take-out or packed lunch lunch stops. (but probbly not at a picknic table).

Will see what I can find.
