Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Yes, it's Rock's from Yakima Wa. he rode it to my place for the rally
He's also a member here I believe

That's cool. I mean, riding an early '80's 11E in this day and age is cool, but an original ('73-'75) Z1 is even cooler. And the paint and badges on the old Kaw are miles ahead of the paint and decals on my 11EZ.

Me and a buddy met him many years ago in Yakima Washington when we were riding there in the middle of nowhere, we saw this guy standing by his camper and there was a 900 Cowie so I said we gotta turn around and meet this guy sat there with him. He gave us a couple of beers. He wanted us to wait until his wife got there because she couldn’t understand his obsession with this Kawasaki when everybody else in the country loves Harleys, he’s been up to my house several times since over the years and I’ve been to his place too great guy

Just bought another GS this weekend, a 1982 GS1100G. Came with a clear windscreen installed on the bars. I recently installed a Puig smoked windscreen that mounts to the headlight bracket on the 1980 GS850GL I have owned for 10 years.

I dont fully recall why I was doing this.
THis is the easiest way to carry the fairing around, keeping the weight close to my body and having a fairly good hold of it.
But is not the way to hold it when dismounting it from the bike or installing back on the bike.

Maybe I was doing a Dorkburger pose.
Maybe it was when bike was down for a while and I was pretending to go for a ride, seems that I am leaning into the curve.
Either way, being silly, .... and apparently got wifes cooperation for a picture.

Something weirdly insectoid about the Tiger front end, especially when its just been out in the rain. I still think it's ugly, it's growing on me.

KiwiAlfa156 gets my vote this week.
"Big Kats are dangerous, but a little p*ssy never hurt anyone"

I love the paintjob on the photo from gustovh. And the playfulness of Redman. But my vote goes to storm 64 for the trim job. Solid work!

This week voting for trevor, his "S" fairing got to hit home for a Suzuki site, but the picture beside it really won me over... Great picture trev.

Carter gets the nod from me, I knew that fairing before it got it's new treatment. I'm on the road now, heading to fair.
