A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Happy Friday, GSR! Let's review these photos and vote.
First our theme of the week by Dave (Redman):

"Roadside photo of the road"

.

OK....Good turn out this week! Thanks everyone!
Let us know if anything is amiss, and don't forget to vote.

Voting for Burque73. Love how the road is centered off in the distance of the photo.

Very surprised this wk. Good thing theme was only "picture of road", all these fit. For me, if theme had been fun rd., exciting rd., favorite rd., for me none would have qualified.. Voting for Borque 73, just cause he got way more road in his picture than the others.

I tried to get Keith Krause attention for him to submit a version of this pic. THis pic I think was a major factor in me starting to pose roadside photos (and some in-the-road).

All intersting photos. Fun.

I see 6 or 7 pics that deserve a good number of votes.

baatfam, nice scene.

Trev pic, the entire picture, most of the entire frame, is intersting, the road precedes along and dissapears, and wonder wher it goes and then later see it again in distance. Lots to see, but, yet the road is the main element of the pic.

Roger Burque. Nice view, road going way off in distance. Looks like found a reassonable to park to pose photo.

Rich, Road going way off in distance, like some of the other pics, but something about the pic that I really liked, but took me a while to idenetify what. Ah, the way it is posed, up close to the bike, and maybe up a little bit of elevation, really minimized, almost eliminated distracting foreground stuff (shoulder of road , etcetera), so immeadiate attention is the bike and the road.
Vote for Rich82 And I'll try to emulate that sort of pose technique sometime.

Just for having the courage to get close to that ticking time bomb!
GUSTOVH gets my vote!

I was in Tacoma Washington last summer. That mountain is beautiful.

Folks, it appears we have a tie between Rich82GS750TZ and Burque73.
If someone would like to break the tie, that would be great. Thanks

Okay folks we have a winner!
A good turn out with 12 entries and 12 votes.

Receiving One Vote.
Trevor
Baatfam

No eggs today for Gustovh. He picked up Two Votes.

Burque73 is the runner up with Three Votes.

And the winner with Four Votes..... Rich82GS750TZ!
CONGRATULATIONS RICH. Your turn to pick next weeks theme!

Doctor says my cholesterol is high from to many eggs.
Told him I'm trying Doc I'm trying!

Wow, thanks all. On my way back from Vacation in TN. I’m about an hour from home, stopped for lunch. Cell service is very bad. Will get a pic and new theme up when I get home.

OK. Trying to post this before we leave. It’s our 28th wedding anniversary today. So trying not to bother her with my forum nonsense.

Breaking a major rule of the game on this one. New theme is:

Not My Bike

Not your bike as long as your motorcycle is in the picture...
That's one of the rules I'm pretty sure.

Like one of Trevor's driveway pictures. Picture of motorcycle but you can see one of Trevor's cycles in the garage.
That works.
I like it!
