• This forum allows conversation on non-controversial topics, therefore no politics or religion. "The Campfire" is an area meant for casual, civil discussions. Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

The words insight and incite are pronounced the same. But one of them will get you banned and the other will not. Before hitting the Submit button be certain which of the two better describes your post.

Register to access the full functionality of the GSResources forum. Until you register and activate your account you will not have full forum access, nor will you be able to post or reply to messages.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well, if I can get this stupid computer to work, going to vote dgates 1, just figure the smaller the group, the less controversy about where, which rd's. how fast, when & where to stop for break, what's for dinner, do we need to be home before supper... I like simple.

Is Saturday.
Forum troubles last couple days, and only half the number of votes as has been typical.

Most certainly Trevor gets points for the largest most enthusiastic group, and they all cooperated for the photo.

My tally

Trevor 1, PeteGSX 2, Rich 1, Baatfam 1, DGates 1.

I say we call PeteGSX the winner, and proceed. THat is an intersting photo, Kats lined up ready for a ride.

Brown COunty, ...... two years ago, I think.
First stop of the morning, Medora Bridge, about 12 miles east of Bedford. And that is pretty much how we stopped and parked in parking lot to go look at the covered bridge. Rich was setting up camera (phone) on a picknic table and suggested we all stand by our bike. I think I moved my GK back a bit cuz otherwize I had been inline between Scott and Brett.
Left to right:
Cowboyup Scott, Brett Griffin, Me Dave Redman, Bob Baatfaam, Ben from Chicago area, Rich Rich82.

I am glad Rich got the picture, a good memory of a good day. Although, haa haa, we could have gotten the three GSes to be in the front. Ha!

Oh cool! I’m 600kms from home on the Katana ride as I type this!

To stick with the Kats and a current one, how about hitting the hills? This was a place called Queen Mary Falls on our way down Friday. Beautiful scenery and fun riding.

If memory serves, this is at the summit of Grandfather mountain in North Carolina. The descent was quite interesting as my transmission was stuck in 4th gear which resulted in a grenaded clutch..........
