A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Helped this little one across the road today. I think it would have come right up to me but I didn't think that was a good idea.

Nice pic, Scott.

Looks like that smooth, flat, gentle curve could be taken at a fairly fast pace.
Glad it wasn't a bad ending for either of you.

Fortunately I had just come off a side road so no chance to get to speed.

Oh deer, bad ending for me, not sure about the deer. Bike seems to be fixable & I'll recover too.
It appears the deer tried to run along side bike on right shoulder (which was overgrown with tall grass to fog line- county lagging on mowing), then decided to cross at an angle in front of my tire in a hasty poor judgement deer call.
By the looks of my Helmet, the hind quarters locked the front brake lever & down I went. Came to flat on my back in ambulance.

Sh1t Carter. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
I hit one in the mid 90s. Road rash from the young and not experienced enough to know better pre agtatt days. And young enough to bounce and not break.

Bob, are those crows? Ravens? Vultures? Whatever they are, that’s a great silhouette shot. And that sky in ominous looking.

Great pic Bob. Disappointed though, I wanted so much to believe they were vultures. LOL.

Kinda random, but my first day, 2nd time that am out with new-to-me camera.

Nice silhouette.
Interesting that the background sky is much lighter behind the main subject and blue elsewhere. Really adds to the scene.
The sun was setting behind the ridge directly behind me, which light up the clouds above and behind the tree/birds, but not the tree/birds.
Lucky. I stepped out of the garage, and saw them. My camera was nearby on the work bench, with the 100-300 already on it.

Dave, that is by far the favorite picture from the set you posted on FB. The converging lines are great and the sheer size of the ship is conveyed even better by it being not fully in the frame.
