A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

It's nice all winter here, except when it's cold and snowing. :D

I ride all winter for sure, pretty much every week, unfortunately not quite every day.

Once in a while the back roads are solid snow and ice for weeks, but it's rare.

I live on a bit of a main road, so I can get out even then.

It's a little late. But I thought I'd post Eric's pic. Doesn't look like winter there either, though he says they've had snow.

But going to be away from bike for a couple days. Maybe Saturday.

Man this thread died once Trevor left.

Ok gsScoobie ur up. :D

My 750E is down for the time being :( and "Skunky" is currently getting a sorely deserved make-over.
It was a barn type find that I got running last year and lost interest while the 750 was running.
Oil leaks in all of the usual places.
Now, it appears that "Skunky" will be up and running sooner than the 750.
Perhaps after Turkey day. (Fingers crossed.)

I think my riding is over till next year. Sticker still expired and got a 160.00 ticket to pay on the near future. Went and FINALLY got my "M" class permitt yesterday, and court today. Swapping engine in a few weeks. She gonna be a monster next season.

Ride on gentlemen, I'll be watching from the side lines.

So we're looking for a boat used for advertising? Today and tomorrow are likely the last days of the riding season for me...

Ut oh!
It sounds like you got pulled over and they discovered no motorcycle license. :(
Is that it?
I have been following your posts and still waiting to see the 1100T completed.

Yep, that's the case alright. I've been riding for over 30 years now, and over 20 of those on the street. Never had a motorcycle endorsement. Used to be a 25$ ticket and you ride away. Now it 140$ and they can tow your bike and take you to a cell.

On a better note. The 1100T will begin right after Christmas. I have that whole week off. Should be able to get it completed in that time. I will start a build thread soon.

Were you doing anything to warrant getting pulled over?
Why not a warning instead?

Whoops! You must have been putting along then. ;)
That is actually cheap compared to Cali-bend over now-fornica.
$160 if you are 5 mph over the posted speed!!!
