All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

New tag is a threefer, but only one is needed.

No need to get the hat trick, but I'm putting it out there for the challenge.

1) A zip line. This is a sign for Wekiva Falls zip line, but it is a very popular place and I didn't want to wait it the long traffic line to take a photo. A sign will do if you have to pay to get to the actual zip line. They have them at the zoo, so that is what these photos are. Also there is a system of cat walks that spans the zoo, so you get a birds eye view.

Two girls were at the end of the sky trail and hit the last zip line a 500 footer. The guy on the ground under them is their guide.

I like the Beetle bug at the car show....in fact, I just picked up a coupe baja projects. These things are as easy to work on as GSes, in some aspects easier, and cheap parts as well.

2 out of 3....
Local mower shop.. Building still has the 50s style from the gas station it once was...

Muffler Man or similar giant, preferably, but not necessarily humorous...
Muffler men were used as advertisment for a chain of muffler stores years ago, holding mufflers in their outstreched arms..Some remain and have been used in other ways.
Link to muffler man history..http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/37422

Whoever made that Muffler Man must have been an Alfred E Newman fan. MAD comics main character, if anyone is scratching their head over who Alfred E Newman is. Someone on a puter will have to post a comparison for me, but if my fried memory is firing on 9 out of the 10 cells I have left, Muffy there is a dead ringer. BTW the Muffler Man down here was or maybe still is made fror muffler and exhaust parts and doesn't have quite the stature of that guy.

The Roadside America link attached to my post gives a history of the Muffler Men and their variants. Interesting light reading....

Yeah I just remembered it was Alfred and was hoping I would catch it before someone else noticed. Guess I'm only running on 8 out of 10 remaining brain cells. lol Alfred Alfred Alfred Alfred Alfred. There that should do it for a while. ;) Spitting image eh? Could you imagine having to drive by and see that mug every day.

I swear I'm stuck in the F'ing twilight zone....weather forcast, sunny, 10% chance of rain, nothing, nada, bunkus...on the radar...WTF, where are they looking, I swear, I've been teleported, woke up to 49 degrees and clouds ominous to create havok!

What they see

360 degrees of what I see, and my coffee's getting cold sitting on the deck:evil:

It sure has been a strange year for weather. We had 34 days of sunshine a couple of days of rain and back to sun again. But I sure agree with you regarding forecasts. I've always maintained that Environment Canada couldn't predict yesterdays weather......:)

I've had way more rain than sun this year, and 49 degrees in August???? I've had 90-100's in August before

All fixed.
Apologies for my photobucket goof..turns out that i uploaded 4 copies of the same images each to photobucket. When i deleted the extras, so also went my riding game pictures linked to GSR. Technically he is known as a Muffler Man variant called half wit ,according to Muffler Man lore..
Original post is fixed as well.
