DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Your next challenge...

Your bike about to be scrapped by a crusher!

I guess no one wants to get that close to a crusher...maybe afraid they'll scoop up our old GSes for scrap by mistake!

I don't think my motorcycle would think it would be very funny to even get close to a junkyard.

I don't feel like picking something up in a tire.

Agreed, I grew up playing around in salvage and scrap yards, I'll pass on getting this one.

I want to ad this is a cool tag though.

Cool tag for sure, but a potential flat tire is not worth it. Last time I hauled some stuff to the scrapyard it cost me more than what $ I got for the metal with a sliced tire on the truck. There are junkyards around here but I'm not getting that close for a pic. Besides the scrap guys around here have ugly dogs and they get ugly too if someone is prowling around their yard.

Just exactly what is the tag ? Is it a scrap yard or do you have to find that machine ? Lots of scrapyards one could take a picture of outside the fence...........

I was outside the fence. I thought it was the machine with the claw about to eat my bike.

HI guys, having to deal with a crap life means I haven't been able to keep track of this but if it helps to move things on a bit I'll open it out a little.

Modified tag is...

A picture showing your bike a perilous situation. Use your imagination to create a mock up, I don't want to be responsible for your ride falling over a cliff etc

I was out this morning and it was perilous...windy, chilly, road still wet from yesterday's rain and covered with slippery fall leaves, but my iPhone died after taking one other pic...so unless you want the game to keep hibernating, you might want to get another tag that isn't so vague and prone to someone's folly to get it. And a new tag wouldn't be any good without a pic. Sorry to hear about crap life circumstances, but maybe another ride will do you good right now, eh?

Can we have a new tag already??????????? It's onle been 3 1/2 weeks

Is that a Kanadian thing.

Monday I'm going to get my, new to me '86 Cavalcade, and it's in the heart of our salvage yard area in Bithlo. If nobody gets anything by then I will with my new ride.

Good god man !!!! Are you OK ? Something like that is harrowing...

.....

It was traumatic....realizing the grave danger I was in when that iPhone screen just blipped out on me on that lonely country road, my survival instincts kicked in. Looking for firewood and food in the wilderness and no passing cars to flag down to use their smartphone to take the tag pic with, I had to do something at that critical juncture. And when I realized I had no matches to light a fire to keep warm, I did the only the thing I could at that point...no, not rubbing 2 sticks together, but rather I hopped on the bike, fired it up and rode the long lonely ride home. Then I plugged the iPhone in, made some hot coffee, and thanked the good Lord that I survived this perilous journey in search of the tag. If I draw a pic with crayons will that suffice as filling the tag and move this game along?

Interesting story, but there has to be more to it. Like, how could you venture out into the wilderness without a properly charged cellphone? Perhaps there is a conspiracy against you getting the tag? I vote for a full investigation in this matter so it doesn't happen again. I am just glad you are okay my friend, things could have turned worse out a lot worse!
