DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Riding to Vegas for a wedding!

Left Richfield this morning ( had to put the rain gear on for the first time but not that bad) and took 89 all the way up to Spanish Fork, where I got on i15 to Slat Lake City....but I was looking at the map for a way around salt lake..and remembered if I took 80 west in a couple of hours I would be in where else but Bonnwville freakin salt flats. So of course I did! Man 80 is fast with speed limit of 80..... I cruised at 140-180kms for most of it...they have had a lot of rain so a lot is under water but man this was so cool to do! A guy from Quebec took my pic but most of the time I was there I was all by myself....
This was outside Spanish Fork around 12:30..cool to see the windmills up close...

Yes I took a salt piece home with me...

Amazing photo's Trevor, man, the time you must be having. The one pic of the flats makes it look like you're down in the Caribbean somewhere.

Oh..oh....I actually had to add oil to my bike at freakin....Bonneville!! Lol

Rain gear again before heading north on 93 to Twinn Falls ID

Hell's Canyon.....roads are supposed be great...and after today's mostly straight roads I could sure use some good twisters!!!

Great pics....
Back in '98 i drove thru Zion, and vowed to return someday when not in a rush. Such a surreal and beautiful place.

The El Camino with its 454 and Flowmaster mufflers sounded quite nice echoing thru that tunnel..... Good times.

Sounds like you're have blast Trevor. Not sure NF39 is doable yet but check with forestry. It's an early spring so it just might be open. Website says it's not but the site is probably not up to date. Let us know if it is. Good travels there bud. You and Rob still thinking of coming this way or is life getting in the way?

You are doing some serious damage to that bucket list Trevor! Great circle trip..

Had to add oil after Bonneville, huh? How fast did it go?

They haven't been able to race the last 2 years due to declining salt (excess mining) and rain. Some people think they may never again race there, although they have tentative dates for this year..

Still that highway across the flats is long, straight and made for seeing how fast things go. I'd have done it.

255kmph....:) not bad fully loaded with luggage and my fat azz.... Had more left but that was enough for me... Lol

Hey, I have the same photo from last year. I wasn't on my bike, so you get the nod.
It was cool just to be there though, for the first time. How much oil did the beemer take?

Trev, those pics are gorgeous!!!

thanks buddy! Not hard to get good pics...lol

i had to add about 3/4 of a quart. But that is since the last oil change around 8000kms (5000 miles) ago....I have been averaging around 47miles to the gallon. I know it's an ugly bike but man it is so perfect for this kind of shlt!! :)

Oh my goodness....I'm in a bar in a place with a population of about 100 and the locals are talking politics.... Lol. ..if you guys don't hear from me again please tell my wife and son that I love them!!! Lol

Left TwinFalls on 84 to 78 to Adrian along snake river...to 20 to 26 into john day or. Was going to go further but at 580kms today I decided to call it a day at around 5:30.... Not a single room in John Day so I got a last room in mount Vernon....not a very nice hotel but cheap.lol
I have decided to extend my trip by another day....my wife's idea.
