I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

After reading the Temu post, I just had to counter with an American company

I need some suspension parts for my daughter's Cherokee, and none of the local chain stores stock them. Sigh, I'm old and long for the days of local part stores. Even the regional chains have been bought out.

So, I ordered the parts from Rockauto on Monday at 9:02 AM, and they were shipped at 12:24 PM. They will arrive Thursday sometime, just in time for this effing atmospheric River to end.

I have to add in a kudo to Olsa Tools of Canada, that order should be here today, after ordering last Friday.

Check out their tools, looks interesting

I use them... make sure you use the code on Brian's thread.

Yes, there pricing is good. One thing to watch out for is they have multiple shipping points. Once you add something to cart other parts that come from the same warehouse are then marked when you search the list... sometimes it's worth paying a $ or two more for the part to save the added shipping. :dancing:

I was able to buy rebuilt rear calipers for a Lincoln Mark V. no one local could get them and Rock Auto had a set. I had to buy two different brands to make a pair and they shipped separately but at least I got them. I made a mistake and used them on a build because that's what I had. I ended up buying rotors, cables and calipers so I just used the Lincoln brackets.

Kudos is not a plural of kudo.

I got nice original style seat covers a few years back for a '54 Willys Wagon. Couldn't believe it, about half the price of Willys vendors, and probably as good or better. Their site is a bit of an eyesore but it works for me.

RockAuto gets a lot of my money because they are pretty much my first stop for all my car stuff. Although like monk says, sometimes getting brakes, pads, and rotors to all ship from the same warehouse is an exercise in frustration.

Wipers at any brick and mortar are extremely expensive for what you get. And they typically only last about a year.

I don't like changing wipers in the winter, so every fall I replace all three wipers on my two cars, plus my mom's. Prices have gone up a smidge but I think I still pay something like $30-$35 for all three cars, after shipping. Whereas ONE wiper from Autozone will run at least $25.

Yeah, RockAuto’s great for parts you can’t find locally. Shipping’s always been quick for me too. Sometimes orders split between warehouses, but it’s still way easier than chasing stuff around town. Glad you got what you needed for your daughter’s Jeep, that’s half the battle.

Rock Auto is on par with JB Weld and Marvel Mystery Oil in it's importance for the shade tree mechanic.

I swear by Rock Auto. Where I live I can't even get parts at my local parts store same day and need to wait. Half the price (or more) and 2 day shipping with Rock Auto.
