Hey there Jeff,
Just reading some posts from sunny Dallas. Temp has been in the low 70's since last week... pretty nice. Frame looks good in black... Waiting for the season to start down here... have to see if there is any bracket racing at the local 1/8th mile track... Hope your health is good...
Curt

How was the move Curt?
It sure is nice to live in a warmer weather. Until it gets hot lol. Yea were trying to get that bike ready for the Man Cup race in April it's my brothers bike now. Putting in a slow GS motor or now for him until I can build him a GSXR1100 motor for it to run Top Gas. But it should run mid 8's with an easy leave with the slow GS1100 motor. I was really suprised how light the frame is. It might suprise me on what it runs being so light. It will be nice to see it go down the track

OK, here we go... a slow gs motor that goes mid 8's... Please tell me more about this slow motor and the weight of the rider... Big compression or what?
Curt

Ok mid 8's is slow for a car tire chassis. We are putting a 1425cc 12.5 to 1 with a nicely ported 29.5/25 1150 head that was built for his small tire bike in it and are going to make it launch real easy so hopefully we don't break something with that big tire. He is 190lbs suited I tryied to talk him out of it but he wants to race it at the Man Cup race. I do have him talked into building a GSXR1100 motor for him to put in it for a more permament bullet plus it is almost 75 lbs lighter than the GS motor but there is no way we could have it ready in time for the Man Cup race in April. With this chassis I figure we need around 210hp to run high 7.80's for Top Gas. I am getting so busy with building heads and motors now I can tell that the economy is coming back big time around here. Even with my regular job we are almost 2 years out with work. If I can stay out of the hospital it will be a very good year for us down here.

That makes sense. Make sure you send pics of this bike. And stay healthy!
Curt

We have a guy up here that has a car tire bike that runs 8's with a bone stock busa motor.

Four Puma Suzukis waiting for assembly... Larry McBride's shop last weekend.

Chassis looks real pretty... Next off season, I am going to repaint mine.. Wish I could be in Chicago to do it... Have more friends in the painting business...

Looks good Jd hope you are feeling better . When I get back to work hope I can finish my 1428 motor

Well we did not make the Man Cup race with it but it is very close to being done. We borrowed a old GS Murray sidewinder exhaust because we don't have a good exhaust for it right now and a good exhaust is $1500 new now. we want a spider pipe for it. We a started it the other day sounds great revs quick. Can't wait to see it go down the track.
If anyone knows of a good exhaust for sale or a good deal on a new one let me know. If it's used it must be in perfect shape.
Here is the newest pic I have of it. I thought I had some with the exhaust on but I don't.

What a brute!
Will you be riding this one or your son?
Will we get to see some video?

my my brother is riding it. It is his bike now. His daughter handed me $2500 because he wanted it bad. He pulled it down to the bare frame and now it looks like a new bike but money got tight so is borrowing my head off my 85 1150 street/strip bike on it. It's first pass is tonight. I wonder what she will run tonight. It's gonna be hot and humid.
