    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Sunrise / Sunset Rides

Scott, Please do not take this as critisism or messing with your personal stuff.

But just me playing with mo'cykle/scenery pictures, like I like to do. (and would be wiling to do better to the full resolution picture file)

Dave,

It's perfectly okay with me and I appreciate it. I just don't have the right software to remove those types of things and wish I did but don't want to spend the coin to get it

OK I don't have a GS story, but I was thinking about GS's...and sunsets... It kinda works!

Departing LA took us out over the Pacific Ocean for a stretch. The water looked like vinyl from this altitude. Hey, I think I see the Loch Ness Monster out there!

I installed a speed checker app and had fun with it too. Here's a screenshot. Couldn't figure out how to get the altitude to show though before the captain turned on the phone jamming device :( Or maybe it just lost the signal...

Well I rode both bikes today but didn't line up a shot with the bikes and the sunset at the same time. But here is tonight's sunset from my back deck....look close and you'll find Waldo(s)...actually it's 4 deer browsing early!

Not a "ride", but a walk down the river channel

(too much zoom)
.
Later note: not walking IN the channel, but along the channel.

Had been in San Diego area, riding in 50s & 60s.
Home now, 20s-30s.
Yesterday was about 40, sunny and clear. GReat for early March in Michigan.
Looked like might be a nice sunset, so added some reason to go for a little ride.

I was able to get out for a ride this evening. First real ride in over a month. I rode down to "Luanne's Rt 68" in Transfer Pennsylvania down by the Ohio River. After dinner I rode to one of my favorite places, Butler County Airport. I got a couple nice sunset photos of the FJR. After that I worked my way back home. A nice warm Ohio evening. ☺
