Suzuki Clutch Master Cylinder Diaphragms ?

Up late STILL Googling and NOTHING: (Help/suggestions?)(Plz.)

My GSX1100g has some other than stock clutch master cylinder.

It's smaller than the Brake master cylinder but I discovered the PO stuffed the oversize gasket "diaphragm" in anyway so I've been using a cut section of bicycle inner-tube.

Problem is nowhere can get me one without knowing which master it is, they can't go by size...(WTF? anyway I thought it was a '88 Suzuki 1100 because looks same (90 out front for hose, everything) BUT when I go to order, that gasket "diaphragm" it's listed for the stock brake master for my bike which is definately larger...

UUURGH!! Anybody know how many clutch master cylinder diaphragm gasket sizes there are I mean at this point i'd order a few but the sizes aren't listed , it looks like a hayabusa as well, same markings but no 90 in the metal for the hose .

my truck failed inspection last week for "tie-rods, wheel bearings and exhaust hangers" so I gotta do those and throw in a ball-joint while at it tommorrow AM-PM ...been riding all week with bicycle inner-tube diaphragm after flushing the fluid...Thanks

It looks exactly like THIS one in diagram
I came across pics on ebay (prefer not to link to ebay ads).

I was relieved until I went to order it but the shipping was $10 there so I put part# in search and found it's same part # for many years and model Suzuki INCLUDING my brake master cylinder which obviously won't fit it.

Dimensions : something like 2"inch x 1" 3/8th" inch LOL That's about 53mmX 35mm is measure of cover. The philips head bolt centers are about 42mm apart.

Well that's measure of cover on it. The center of philips head bolts on the brake master looks like 56mm. I'm just using a steel ruler for now (Time) I could check with calipers later. The Diaphragm for OEM size stuffed in there was like a sick joke BTW...

Got to work on truck and reply too long . Strange clutch slipping fixed (easy fix) story later maybe...Thanks

Well I think this is in "other" as in "other than Suzuki" but I misinterpreted.

Hopefully I will have an answer /update soon.

Still working on my truck (just couple exhaust hangers left to do, rejection sticker windshield) STILL riding the GSX1100 to work with a section of bicycle inner-tube for the clutch master cylinder diaphragm...

I am hopeful, the first small local shop I went the owner told me to bring the bike for mechanic to look at and he'd probably know. and "he used to race those" course it's not a stock part...

I googled plenty and thinking maybe my best bet to try "ask seller a question" option and start asking a bunch of ads about measurements of the clutch/brake master diaphragms.

Too busy working on repairs, AND DMV mailed my MC endorsed License (after waiting TWO and half hours (seriously) to get my picture taken and hand them papers and pay, and it never arrived , so sometime when get the time (around three hours+) I get to go wait again ...BUT what will I ride there in/on? Plus maybe one of my neighbors or landlord stole my license card... Liberty LOL...Goodnight

All summer I've used the section of bicycle inner-tube and recently hadn't ridden for couple weeks (fuel pump added, and header one broke header bolt issue)...Went to ride and the clutch wasn't working properly, cleaned the slave cylinder (good this time), removed the actuator rod and sanded (500grit and scotch-brite) the rough spot on actuator rod, bled the line (yesterday)...of course the innertube has deteriorated a tiny bit...

Keep forgetting to post a pic when I can get pics to photobucket, here's a couple (today):








Don't even know whether it's Suzuki (?) As seen in pic, should fit 7/8th" bars (Mine are 1")
The smaller volume can cause problems on some bikes, some prefer it for faster shift for racing...It does release quicker, faster when working smooth (like today/evening)

I took one more pic of it closer, same as one pic though but shows the "14" on the tube facing rider...
Looks exactly like the '88 linked above but can't be because it's gasket would be much too large.
If the shop mechanic can't tell me I might try some permatex on it (?) maybe atleast between the inner-tube and cover , so I can trim the goofy looking innertube so it's not obvious...

Been Wondering why the heck "DOT 4 ONLY" for a clutch?? all it does is push the little pin, nothing like a brake w/ heat involved...sticking with "dot4" though (Dot 3 less "hydroscopic")...?

(About time I get the proper "diaphragm" for it, was holding off for a stock one, kind of like this one/have it already).

If it's Suzuki, then being black and at that angle I'd say it's probably off an early GSXR750 / 1100.

If it's not Suzuki, then I think you're outta luck finding out what it's from.

Maybe just buy a new generic unit from eBay / China?

Should be four pics. Strange. I opened the forum on a different tab and I still have all four.

The brake master IS stock. The clutch master cylinder is NOT. It's much smaller.
It *looks* exactly like pics/ diagram of a 1988 1100 BUT the part number is same as stock GSX1100 and that part # is same as GSX1100 brake master cylinder diaphragm so it can't be ...

Hope the pics are showing , Photobucket had a message about some outages but that they were up and running normal.
Thought it was more of their spam covered wallpaper...

There was one stock master cylinder for $44 or "OBO" monthes back, needed a rebuild. So I offered $22 , they declined.
It sold , I was kicking myself, but I already have this one ...can't even ever order a rebuild for it though.

$1.50 for air, but this machine adjusts automatically, have to use the top of the filler to fit between brake discs though...smoother , more flickable with proper air pressure (well I added 1lb. over)...

Urgh! was saving those for my "leather seat cover post OR "Fuel Pump Plug" post...must rest though.

Hey! I didn't notice the reply at first (was busy posting pics at time).
When I first went by the small MC shop near me, the owner pulled up GSXR and the later generation went back to cable clutch, but he checked on the GSXR w/ hydraulic clutch and the part # was same as my stock brake master cylinder diaphragm...Going to double check though...

...Still holding on to finding the right gasket "diaphragm" for this one OR finding a used stock one...Idea of ordering a generic one just for having a gasket just bugs me still.
Been riding more lately because the road(s) are being repaved where I live and I park in the yard...
...Going on three or four months with the inner-tube . Well ...Going to check again the GSXR clutch masters AND see if I can get a fairing by this weekend...(I was designing one myself from a large bowl from a thrift store but wife brought it in and filled it full of fruit, loves it. (LOL, getting colder, want my fruit bowl back!, No time now though)

THANKYOU VERY MUCH!!!!!! That statement caused me to get very determined...

99% certain it's a 93-98 GSX-R1100 BUT the "(MODEL P/R)" IS the one (ONLY).

Man! It was driving me NUTS, the pic was EXACTLY same on a used "'94 gsxr 1100 clutch master cylinder" ad.
(After google images of all out there)
I kept looking on parts sites and even the diagram, FINALLY noticed a different part # , noticed the both sites had the
"(MODEL P/R)" RIGHT NEXT to "(Model S/T/V/W)" ....

the P/R has the 90 degree out the front, other doesn't ...the MC shop (owner) guy must've made the same mistake and I had given up on it ...

Well so HAPPY, (wife's P'd, computer ALL evening because I KNEW the one GSXR ad was exact one but the ...
NOT DIAPHRAGM : 59667-49460 (although that's the "S/T/V/W" model gsxr and 50 other's diaphragm...
IT's: DIAPHRAGM : 59667-44B00 FINALLY !!!!
No wonder the wrong one was stuffed in there too!

Oh, the other model gsxr has the plastic plate , this one doesn't have a plastic plate (one less thing to buy)...
