A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I recently bought one along with a new set of tyres... Seems like it's the wrong one for the 82 GS850 / 650 Front wheel. Diameter is too big.

Anyone got a link for one they know for sure is the correct one?

New on the left, old on the right. Dia is about 8.5mm all the way down, the other is about 11.5mm at the base & fits a standard modern wheel.

Thanks... the original came from Americanmototire, I guess I just hit the wrong part number :)

Aargh, sorry to steer you wrong, Dan.

Thanks for finding the correct part number!

No probs mate. You steered me to the right store & the right page of their counter catalogue! :D

I picked up the 90426's today, look perfect. Thanks again :)

cartridge emulator adapters

cartridge emulator adapters

On a previous post you said you could provide adapters for mikesxe cartridges emulators. Give me the details. A question though. Do you know if the adapters Race Tech has in their inventory would work with the emulator from mikesxs?

I wanted to thank you guys for posting this. Had my wheels at the local shop and they didn't have the right valve stem. They were going to order the OEM valves for $18 each, but luckily there's a NAPA right by. Ordered a few 90426's for less than $8 total :)

I'll be happy to have my freshly powder coated wheels with Shinko 712's ready to go for my GS650G build :)

Haha. They are still at the shop waiting for the valve stems (they weren't in stock). I'll get pictures once I get them on the bike. I'll do a build thread at some point too, once I get a little closer to finishing it (so much more work to do).

I just wanted to thank you guys again. Got the valves in for about $25 less than OEM. Tires are on and she's ready to rock (once everything else gets done).
