A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Was going to the dentist but then took a detour ;)

I took the GSX for a ride to the dentist and after I was done I didn't want to go home since I had a full tank of gas and the bike was working flawlessly, so that 30min ride back home from the dentist turned into a 3-4 hour roundtrip around my homeparts.
Enjoy ;)

may sound odd but i think the snow is great. you gotta learn to love it when you live around here. or in norway i would think.

Those roads would be difficult to ride on without crashing from trying to keep right of the center line for Americans.

Yes!
At times I do think I live in the wrong country.
Beautiful.
Even where I am at I am not close enough to the mountains.
Never even mind the mountains there.
I love these type of pictures!
Thank you!

Different is always interesting. We met some folks from Colorado up on Sunrise Mountain, a local spot along the Appalachian trail. Our 'mountains are old and worn down, no snow caps around here. Anyway they were ooing and ahing about the view and we were all like, doods ur from Colorado, wtf are you talking about? They just said yeah, but there's nothing like this out there.

I'd love to tour Europe on a bike.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful pics of your landscape! I would rather miss the dentist appointment and ride some more!

May I suggest this place as place to visit. I think it would appeal to you, google images of the place.
Saorge France a village stuck to the side of a mountain, there are no cars and everywhere is reached by foot.
From Menton, to ventimiglia, turn left head north for twenty minutes, on those French/Italian switchback roads and you're there. its one of those places you would never find unless somebody tells you about it.

After you've been to Norway that is...

Nice pictures.
Great scenes.

Did not see any evidence of any of that snow melting, so must be air temperature much less than freezing.
