A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Good work. I like without the bags and fairing.

Yeah I told my wife that too and she just scowled at me lol. The gk is the only bike I have that she enjoys riding 2 up on. So I guess she will be fully dressed.

I can't get my wife on my bike. Small price to pay I'd say.

I have the opposite problem.
It is hard to keep her off! ;)
She does, however, limit it to days that are over 40-45 degrees now after riding through snow storms and 50 mph gusts.

Riding with a naked wife on the back is probably not the best idea. ;)

Gorgeous bike!

You officially made me want to paint my motor all silver. Was gonna do black... but that thing just looks like a shiny jewel in the center of that bike! Great job!

Thank you I'm very happy I went with the silver.I was going to also paint my motor black and polish the covers but the more I thought about the more I wanted silver being the rest oog the bike is black with metel flake and silver pin stripes I thought it would be to much. The paint is actuallt hight temp dupli color cast aluminum

That's exactly the color I just got. Did you do any prep other than soda-blast? I'm using about 3 bottles of Gunk Engine De-Greaser, power-washing, and then going over with soap and water and a wire brush, then power-wash again. Then, going to hit some of the case areas with Aircraft stripper (I have all-new gaskets that I'll install afterwards) and on the aluminum covers to polish them.

I don't have access to a soda-blaster (and don't have a compressor)... so I'm trying to do it all by-hand.
