What I see is GSR will be around as long as there's money coming in to keep it alive.
Once the funds stop coming in, it will dissolve.
I've amped up my donations the last couple of years. I enjoy GSR and the GSR family of friends.
    My Motorcycles:
22 Kawasaki Z900 RS (Candy Tone Blue)
22 BMW K1600GT (Probably been to a town near you)
82 1100e Drag Bike (needs race engine)
81 1100e Street Bike (with race engine)
    79 1000e (all original)
    82 850g (all original)
    80 KZ 650F (needs restored)

I agree, only survives with support... I will keep contributing to the great community here. This was my first year on this forum, but enjoy it even if I'm not looking for answers.

How I discovered a few forums was by way of asking for info on Google. Still works.

It will be abandoned when a few things fade away: the remaining GS bikes become rare, the major group of GS owners age out, and when Suzuki no longer supplies parts.
The asinine trump tariffs may accelerate Suzuki ending support.

Well, this is Frank's website. And he doesn't make a penny off it. It seems clear that he loves to support us maniacs posting here daily, but he doesn't have a whole lot of motivation to expand the scope and keep this forum active into perpetuity. And I don't blame him.

I just accepted your "challenge". Clicked back on New Topics, 5 of the 15 threads were in the Vortex.
Did not bother evaluating whether I was interested in any of them, just did a quick count.

just a suggestion, but publishing a downloadable archive is definitely something to consider. At least that way, if it "retires", the knowledge and information shared will not be lost. You could even run a fancy machine=learning (aka AI) algorithm on the archive that will conveniently find answers for you. Although I am not familiar with vbulletin enough to know if they make that (being archives) possible, a lot of closed-source tech stuff don't want to make it easy for you to leave them!
