• This forum allows conversation on non-controversial topics, therefore no politics or religion. "The Campfire" is an area meant for casual, civil discussions. Deliberate anti-social activity including personal insults, profanity, pornography, racism, threats and purposely inflammatory posts may result in suspension of forum access or possibly a permanent ban from GSR.

    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Hey Gustovh! How do you like them, Over Easy, or Sunny Side Up?
Breakfast at my house Saturday morning! :)

Oh yay, I get to do the summation!
Somebody’s going to strut out of here with bragging rights; a few will shake their heads and say “so close;” and likely there will be a few big fat zeroes out there. Who will get the honors? Who will get the shame? It’s up to you!

Let’s see what we got:
The Theme: I'm going with public art / graffiti.

And the entries:

An even ten votes, but there can be only one winner! I think you all know who to pick…
Let the wild rumpus begin!

I didn't have anything for this week's theme.

I'll vote for Rich82GS750TZ. Beautiful bike and I gotta give the nod to Uncle Ben.

Steve Murdock gets my vote this week... Public Art
So true. The only thing that would make it more true is if they were behind the wheel of a automobile texting!

For my entry, I went with Graffiti. I guess I was a little confused...

Voting Borque73 this week, the sinisterness of those eyes have clamped on to me and won't turn loose.

I couldn’t decide. I’m going with the favorite of my art teacher wife. She likes how Kerry’s bike blends with and becomes part of the art. kerrfunk

Good morning GSRESOURCE.COM! It's Saturday morning, let's count the votes...

Trevor 3 votes

Steve Murdock 2 votes.
Rich82GS750TZ 2 votes.
Burque73 2 votes

Marvinsc 1 vote.
Kerrfunk 1 vote.
Dorkburger 1 vote

Looks like Trevor gets the win! Congratulations Trevor. Let's see what you have for us next week.

Seems like everyone that went with public art got a vote.
The folks that went with graffiti didn't get a vote.
I think in the future we keep it to one subject. My .02

Thanks everyone for the votes.....boy it's getting hard to come up with a theme....how about "famous vehicle/Hollywood"? Be as creative as you like :)

This was years ago on the island

Here was the inside of the car...owner did a nice job

That's a fun theme, and a great old hollywood muscle car from a good show. Unfortunately, for me, the only thing I've come a cross that would even come close is the poorly done "replica's" outside at a local garage of Lightning McQueen and Tow 'Mater from the Pixar Cars movies. And I've never gotten a pic of by bike near them. And this week, with projected constant below freezing temps will not be the week. I'm out.

The theme is pretty open to interpretation I know you have something in the files
