A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • How nice??? I've got a pretty decent "daily rider" I'd consider selling. I need to start getting rid of a few. 70 yr. old and sure don't ride them as much as they deserve being ridden.
Hi Scott, it would be great if you could take a few pics of those wheels in full sun light, but not direct light and if you could wipe em down with a rag first to get the true color. If i do go the route of painting it's going to end up being a color match job (more info the better)

Hi Ryan, I had the Kat out in the driveway yesterday, cleaning out the garage - and I completely forgot about taking pics!! I'm going for a ride today (and Monday), but not Sunday so I'll try to get some pics then. Email is scott.j.rummel@comcast.net

I did look closely at my front wheel in the garage with decent light, and it was VERY difficult to see the color difference between the paint and the polished side of the rim. That said, when you see an 82 1100E wheel next to an 82 1000S - the difference is very obvious.
These are actually my 2nd spare set and at 70 years old I think I can get by with one so someone will come along that's had enough of a raspy 4 to 1 and pick em up. Thanks

I have a very nice set of spare pipes for an 83 ES, and my current ES has a nice set of stock pipes. But I also have a second ES with a 4 into 1 which could use the spare set I have. So I'll hang on to both and we'll see what is needed first! I'm 64 and I recently upgraded my ES for a 2018 Gold Wing as my primary ride. And last fall I picked up an 07 FJR with pretty low mileage so anyone needing a bike for a ride could use that. It's set up for solo riding. So no rush, and I'm sure someone needs a decent set of 83 pipes. Thanks again!

I also thought I would upgrade to a touring bike.Bought an 86 Cavalcade with more doo dads than a motorcycle should have. With me at 5'7" 160lbs I just felt it was too heavy.
I'll go $150 +ship. You could have it rechromed in black but that might be expensive. I really like this 500 degree or whatever it is gloss black I got at o'riellys.
The exhaust is in good shape but black is weak and sketchy. What I would do with these I did on my gs.wiped them down with cleaner and painted them the highest temp gloss black I could find. Think it was 450-500 degree. Came out better than I thought for $10 hasn't burnt or faded.Plus given where you live shipping would be a bit

Hi Scott I just asked about the cost of fairing and light.I don't know if the guy knows what he has advertised as suzuki street bike, going on sat. if he still has it.
    Hi Scott,

Hope you had a great turkey day. I think we're in for a long winter, I've had 4 days off for the holiday and all I've seem to get done is shovel snow,so far. Any plans to come to our WNY rally in June? If so,great. If not I'll see you at Moosehead in August.
