If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

    Polaris SH775 Opinions??

This weekend I purchased a 2017 SH775 from Ebay wintersrec. They accepted the Make an Offer :). The Shindegen Gold Wing R&R 5 wire I had installed never caused a problem. As you know, the 79GS1000 came with separate Regulator & Rectifer. Back in 1982, the original set up smoked the wiring...

    Mikuni Carb JIS Screw sources

Good idea! VM 26/28s use 5 M5 throttle shaft screws (bolts). PS: I see Dorman sells packs of M4 x 25 bolts which are unthreaded 1/2 down the bolt. Perhaps I can rethread the section with a M4 die and cut the bolt to length?

    Mikuni Carb JIS Screw sources

This M4x13 throttle shaft screw with an unthreaded shoulder does not look to be available. I checked Sudco & Jets R-Us VM33 & V29 Smoothbore exploded views. Thought it might have been a Mikuni P/N VM33/73 or N138.186 but Sudco does not include it in their 2023 price list. Jet-R-Us states its...

    Mikuni Carb JIS Screw sources

I am refurbishing a set of Mikuni Flatslides which are no longer supported by Mikuni, Sudco etc. I found one of the throttle shaft screws had been replaced with a non-OEM M4 (black) screw shown below. I would like to find a OEM zinc plated M4 with the unthreaded shoulder. I reviewed the current...

    GS1000 Mikuni VM26

I contacted Chad T @ Sudco because I wanted to see if Sudco's price for the Needle Valve Assembly 13370-18111 was cheaper than Partzilla. The Sudco Needle Valve Assy (13370-18111) sells for $28/Ea. but are actually a 2.3, not 2.0 which are installed in these VM26's. The Number 1 Carb Body I...

Refurbishing a set of 78 GS1000 VM26 carbs with the LH side choke lever. Plan on installing a Dyno Jet Stage 3 kit I had lying around.
