DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

There is a ZRX 1200 for sale on Craigslist Youngstown Ohio. The guy wants $1,500 for it. Says it has low miles, all original... I think I'm going to check this one out. Any thoughts about the motorcycle?

That's a nice bike! Only $1500??? Sounds fishy.

Let us know how things turn out.

I don't know, it sounds like a scam to me. A lady sent me a email reply saying that her husband just died two months ago. She said the motorcycle is in Indiana, but she is not in Indiana now.... I replied that I was sorry her husband passed away. I told her I was very interested in the motorcycle, and that Indiana was not to far away for me. I asked her to get back to me and we can schedule a meet up... What I am expecting is a reply saying to send her money to hold the motorcycle for me. And that's the scam. We'll see and I'll keep you posted. Oh, the motorcycle only has 6,000 miles on it. Yep, to good to be true.

Yep, sounds way too good to be true, but who knows?? I'm sure we're all pulling for you. Good luck!!!

The story is getting interesting Norm. Thanks for the suspense.

Or, the story is true and she has no idea what the bike is worth.

Tis' the Season, I just got into a 04 FZ6 for $1500.

Jump on it Norm if it tickles your fancy for these bikes are fetching some serious coin!!!

Send a message to Dale (Dogma). He has a green one, not sure what year it is.

.

It's a 2001. Stainless Kerker, ignition advance, Givi bags on Motech mounts. New chain and sprockets, tires fair to good. Some scratches on the tank. Doesn't stay in 3rd under power. It's been parked 2 years waiting for me to get to it. There's a chance it's just the shift drum, but I think a sticky shift lever is the root cause, so there's probably damage everywhere. Dropping the pan for inspection is the first step. If I'm lucky and it's just the drum, that can come out the side. I should have time in the coming year, but I always seem to say that. Next year for sure.

$1500 for that black bike is indeed too good to be true, as is $2500. Something is wrong.

Yes, some kind of a scam going on here. The lady emailed me saying she's not in town. She said she would prefer to do the transaction through e-bay? They would deliver the motorcycle for me to check out. If I liked it then I'm supposed to call eBay to release the money. ??? I don't know what kind of scam it is, but it's not right.

After looking at this motorcycle and doing a little research, I could definitely see myself riding a motorcycle like this. Seems like a modern day standard. A little more stylish than the Bandit, in my opinion.

The one in Abilene Texas looks very nice and a reasonable price.

Gosh you guys are way too gullible. I knew that was a scam the very second I read the ad.

I kind of thought so too. But what is the scam? How is someone like this getting money? Maybe I just didn't swallow the hook enough to see...

"Through Ebay and delivered for inspection for free"...doubtful. I can see a makeshift listing and the bike being delivered...then a call for non payment via the seller and you'd have to pay return shipping and the posted auction price {which might not be as previously advertised}...smells really fishy...really. Where's it located in Indiana? ...one of the members here should be able to inspect it who's close - if it's for real.
