This was back in October, Keigwins trackday at Thunderhill West, pouring rain all through Washington and Oregon, then once dropping into California the rain stopped. Temps were around 78-80 ish. I chatted with a couple of guys, one on a 81 Honda CB 750F and another on a red 1980 GS1100ET. They were riding in a different group, took a couple of shots on the phone, but were poorly composed on my part, so I didn't post them.
Had trouble with loading photos to Photobucket took this long to figure it out. "GotBlueMilk" was there taking the photos.
This was a tough tight 2 mile track with super slow hairpins, barely got into 4th gear. The tech inspector warned me that it would interesting (chuckle-head nod) on such a long wheelbased ancient bike. "Be careful out there" were his final words. Took about 3 sessions to figure the place out. We walked the night before the first day. Lots of possibilities to take the wrong line, but it turned out to be a great little mini adventure. My two riding partners and a brother of one, all kept all are wheels on the ground. It was a great experience trying a track in California.
