A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I just got word that Adam Reinke passed away on the 24th, after entering the hospital on the 23rd.
That's really all I know at this time. His wife posted it on social media, so it should be OK to share.

I am sure some old timers here remember Adam better than I. First time I met him was at a Brown County Rally 14, 15 years ago.
And I spent time with him at couple other rallys. He was a very fun guy to spend time with.

Originally from the Chicago area, he was living in Asheville, NC when I met him.
Adam loved his wife and son, liked motorcycles, cars, beer. He was a heck of beer brewer, and also judged beer contests.
A few years ago, Adam and his family moved to Portland, OR. They seemed really happy there.

Adam was 43 or 44 I think, was married to Missy for 20+ years, and their son is 7.:blue:

Didn't know the man but a beer connoisseur in Portland Oregon is a man living in beer paradise .... Rest in peace ......

This is heart Breaking. I met Adam at my first Brown County Rally in 2007 and rode with him many times in Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and elsewhere. Fun guy, RIP Adam and condolences to the family.

Adam was probably the first friend I had from this forum. I rode with him at the first BCR I experienced, and I roomed with him a couple times. The last ride with him was the last Southeast rally where we roomed together. He and I 'seagulled' a few motorcycles one year at the BCR, and we had an indepth conversation b about 'canonical' Star Wars lore. He was a truly special dude. I always thought we'd get to hang together again. Rest well AOD!

Adam was a great guy. He's the first person I met at a GS rally when he and I were the first ones to arrive at Maldonado's for dinner in Nashville on Friday night in 2004.

The rally was a much different affair back then.

I always loved his "business casual" look at rallies when the riding was over for the day and the beer was being poured. Floppy T-Shirt, spandex thigh-covering shorts, and riding boots.

Always had a great story (or ten) to share.

Sorry to hear this. Like others here I shared time with Adam at several rallies--both riding and drinking/discussing beer. Taken too soon.

Adam with his then new to him Interceptor at the Southeast (Robbinsville) rally in 2006.
