Your BSA is a beauty, Sink.
I like the seat/tail combo. Is it your own design?

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
We had our annual Perth Motorbike & Scooter show here in Western Australia. I took the bike (BSA) down on Friday as part of the Vintage bike club, if I had a spare spot on the trailer I would of taken the GS 850 as well.
some of the bikes close by were in the Show & Shine section, and two that caught my eye were the Suzuki water bottles, one early version with the drum brake, and a later one with the disc. There is quite a few of these in Perth and 99% of the ones I've seen have been restored.
The photos, My 55 BSA, friends 750 Honda, 1915 Sunbeam, and the Suzuki's.

After yet another frustrating weekend I took a ride... On the bicycle. Call me lazy, but I didn't feel like going thru the process of donning my gear, moving cars, etc to go on the cycle. It was actually fairly enjoyabe zipping thru town and disregarding all traffic rules. Its quite quiet on late Sunday anyway. Ducking in and out of parking lots, jumping curbs, etc brings back me back to a time long ago....I really need to ditch the knobby tires....

I took a pic of my GS in this spot early this year..
Yep pr4 gt I'm on my 2nd pair. Had the pr4 without the gt first. Didn't give up anything handling or performance to get the stiffer sidewall and harder centre of the gt. Love these tires! Have rode lots in the rain to. Never lost grip yet. If I get 10,000 to 12,000kms out of a rear tire I'm happy. And I have with these tires. The gt is made for bikes like ours. Glenn I believe just put a set on his 2011 connieSo the leaves still drop out but it never really gets cold... Jealous...Trev you running the PR4GTs? I just ordered a rear for the Connie and will be swapping the front over in a couple of weeks.. On my 3rd tire with the Connie so far... Did pretty good with 009 got about 4K miles (or 6.5Kms). I hope the PR4GT yields a little longer tread life... But Should be the better tire with winter upon us.
K is looking good! Cool road....
Soaking it up while I can here in VT... Another long ride into work

Man.. I look forward to see how well these last for me. If they last well for you and I belive we have similar riding styles I'm sure I'll be pleased. Everyone on the Concours 14 group swears up and down on the PR4GT. I ran the Shinko for I was just looking to blast a rear tire before investing in good tread for the cold months. With winter right around the corner I want to ride with pilot roads. The PR3 were awesome in the cold, wet, slushy conditions.... Even ridden in the snow with them (surprise snow squall)... With winter coming right around the corner I want to be ready!Yep pr4 gt I'm on my 2nd pair. Had the pr4 without the gt first.
