A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I thought I catch another ride before it totally turns toward the cold side. Our Mountain has snow again.

The locally famous "Little Shasta" church, founded in 1878.

Table Rock. A local land mark.

wow...........amazing photo's Charlie, and the bike looks great.

I washed the bike. A bit of Trevor's skill rubbed off. What can I say...Mt. Shasta is beautiful. It's nice to have her back in all her glory.

Being a Hooligan on my 2010 GSX650F. Fun bike and it was decent day to take the naked suzuki for a spirited run.

a few days ago we got 4" of snow. but today temps were upper 40s. figured i'd squeeze a ride or two in before it starts piling up. rode with my gixxerpunk kid to the post office so he could start getting his damn mail sent to his own house.... it's only been 2 years since he moved out.

anyway, just tooling around the neighborhood on the bike i call "the ugly"....

the wind was pretty good today. a little scarey standing under these things when they're spinning.

the vetter windjammer is great for riding in the cold, very comfortable. this pic from state land nearby. i think on a clear day you may be able to see lake ontario from here.

Not ugly....but call it the eclcitic so not to hurt it's feelings. Somebody still loves that old GS. Even the bungee bag locks aren't the same color.

LOL Love Eli! I love that top shot! If it works and runs... RUN IT!

Jedz, that's the spirit! :encouragement: Even after a bigger snow storm, there is always at least a day or two every few weeks where most of the sand/salt/ice/snow has cleared and
the Sun has come out (40 degrees or so) when you can at least get in a 50-75 mile ride all winter long. "Winter storage" is for those that don't like to ride. ;)
Quite the eclectic variety of scooters you have in your stable.

You know what they say... Variety is the spice of life!

I'll try to run it everyday, snow is in the forecast I'll keep it at home but I do have 80/20 dual sport tires coming in just in case I do get stuck in the white stuff... The ZR suck in it...

Just a short run into town to get gas, the cap wouldn't open...grrrr. So here it is on the way home.

Steve, Bonita, and I joined some of his Goldwing chapter friends last night for a Veteran's Day ride through a local retirement village;

It was probably one of the most fun rides I have been on in a long time. The sites (lights, people waving at their doorways, etc) and sounds (horns, somewhat noisy exhaust - oh wait that was mine:p) made quite an impression on me. Three of the Goldwings had larger flags on them while a few others had small ones; Bonita had the CB radio on in the van playing various marches and songs (each military branch's song played) while each Goldwing's CB radio played the music coming from it.

Yesterday was probably the last warmish day of the year here in NJ. 60 and clear skies. Took a ride out for a haircut then rode to work at my 2nd job at night. Hopefully we get a few more nice days this year, but soon it will be time to start working on her in the garage.

Planning on cleaning up the carbs properly. I'm also thinking about cleaning out the inside of the tank, as there is some visual surface rusting inside. Plus some cosmetic changes!
