A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Just returned from a 3 day, 600 mile camping and riding trip with my favorite riding partner on the vStrom through the Adirondacks in upstate NY and over to VT. Thanks to Jedz123 for providing a camping spot in VT.

Trevor,

It's so dry that it looks like Southern California. Are those subterranean buildings bunkers?

That's because we have had about the same amount of rain as Southern California.:) I can't remember the last ime my wife had to cut our grass. ;)

Interesting place for a Bike Night.

Interseting to see you guys represent the GSes so well, amoungst the new sport bikes, the cruiser .... and the overpriced euro trash (har har)

That is an intersting place in general. Looks like could be fun ride around there. Thanks for posting pics.

Who does that sweet looking 750 belong to? That is one nice looking machine. Looks as good as when it came off the showroom floor. You guys must all have too much time on your hands to keep these things looking so good.

It's known as Macaulay Point. It was built in 1878 by the Brit's of course. It's a fairly cool spot as it hasn't been turned into a tourist attraction, it's just an open park with the exception of the larger buildings which still reside on Naval property. This is good website for more photo's.

I looked through those pictures. Great! Thanks.

Those Euro trash bikes need to start parking in the Tall Grass

he..he..heee...... Decided to do a lone wolf ride yesterday since the rains are coming back this week. Did the loop out to Renfrew and around on the Pacific Marine Rd, you'll remember that ride Charlie, it was the 'wet' one... They've had that road closed for the last couple of weeks due to a human started forest fire :( It was pretty odd riding through a few parts where the tree's were burnt on both sides of the road, we just don't see that sort of thing around here much. They're still fighting it that's for sure but they've pretty well got it contained now.

I remember Renfrew. Fogged shield, misty rain and wobblie M/C legs. Good times. Good breakfast at that cafe.

He lives a few blocks from me and purchased it earlier this year. He has joined here but I forget under what name.

Went out for some cycle therapy under a gorgeous full moon last night......just beautiful.

Stopped by a coworkers house, but at 11 30 he was long asleep. I spoke briefly to his son who recently returned home from boot camp.
He also brought home one of the new retro CB 1100s.

Broke the Triple out... Carbs are running perfect. Allot of pull for an old shafty 3 banger. Love that exhaust note... More work to do but it's running at full steam now!

Well it's been raining here for 3 days now.:( Last night we got a break after dinner and around 8pm I went out for a quick spin. I have not been on a bike since Sunday, the longest I have gone all summer.

The wife and I took the Kat out to the local bike night on Tuesday. Always a few nice bikes, there.
