    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

tr,

I have reviewed this photobucket-pic-posting some.
Instead of just relying on my memory (like I did in PM), I stepped thru the proceeedure and thought some about how to explain it .

In photobucket albumn.
See the IMG code there next to you photo. (NOte: IMG code, not just the URL.
Click on that, it all turns blue. right click, choose Copy

goto to your posting
click on the posting space.
Right click, choose Paste.
It will paste the IMG code into the post.
It will look something like this:
[ I M G ] http : //i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/RedMan52/2015_Ride/IMG_2225_W800_zpsdrwfwuk0 . jpg [ / I M G ]
(note: I added spaces so you could see it here as the IMG code, instead of it displaying as the picture.)

and then when Save the post, it will then display as the picture.

Here is the same thing again, but I did not add the spaces, so it displays as the picture.

.

You seem to be copying and pasting just the URL.
You could add the bracket IMG bracket in front of the URL and the bracket backslash IMG bracket on the end and have it work.
(like I showed above, but without the spaces)

Or... since you are able to copy the URL, you could use the method that uses the picture icon (that square icon with a tree, says "insert image").
There would be 3 or 4 details to have to work thru to get that to work. Biggest detail is to unclick the thing that says something like "host locally"..... ..... I haven't done that enough to remember the details.

There is about 3 or 4 or 5 ways to post the pics.
So 3 or 4 different people might all describe something different to you.
And another 3 people might be trying to describe the same thing, but explain it so different that you don't recognize it is the same thing.

Dave

.

.

..later note.
My description is for Windows on a PC.
I now recall you mentioned something about I-Pad. SO maybe I am not helping you at all.

So the leaves still drop out but it never really gets cold... Jealous... ;) Trev you running the PR4GTs? I just ordered a rear for the Connie and will be swapping the front over in a couple of weeks.. On my 3rd tire with the Connie so far... Did pretty good with 009 got about 4K miles (or 6.5Kms). I hope the PR4GT yields a little longer tread life... But Should be the better tire with winter upon us.

K is looking good! Cool road....

Soaking it up while I can here in VT... Another long ride into work

So after deciding on a project GS650E or a running SV650, I bought this today...and took it out for a test blast of 10 miles.
New tires coming, routine oil and filter change needed and a few other maintenance items then I'll put a bunch more miles on it.

Cheers on the new wheels Steve!

On your photobucket album, look around (right, center) for the little gear icon.
Click on that.
That takes you to the setup.

Select at least these two.

We had our annual Perth Motorbike & Scooter show here in Western Australia. I took the bike (BSA) down on Friday as part of the Vintage bike club, if I had a spare spot on the trailer I would of taken the GS 850 as well.
some of the bikes close by were in the Show & Shine section, and two that caught my eye were the Suzuki water bottles, one early version with the drum brake, and a later one with the disc. There is quite a few of these in Perth and 99% of the ones I've seen have been restored.
The photos, My 55 BSA, friends 750 Honda, 1915 Sunbeam, and the Suzuki's.
