A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Went for a nice ride to catch the post eclipse sunset out in the Western New York farm country.

The old GS850G is still a cool bike to ride the back roads of NH. I've owned over 40 bikes and the GS is still a pleasure to ride. Today's view over Bow Lake....

Definitely a cool run of pictures.

Pilot, your sister has a cool view.

Dave.... water. Always fun. I dig reflection shots. Years ago, I replicated one of your boat launch/ rear tire in water pictures in the riding game. I was nervous....

Justin, great view, and cool scrapes on the H-D exhaust, presumably from the Dragon.

Cooley pic. Nuff said..

Jlyon, nice sunset, with a splash of orange on the bike.

Lurch, the 850 of yours is a beauty.

Out for a short early afternoon ride.
Went thru a park on the river. THis back road to a far corner of the park, has part of the bayou running over it.

I have had some folks comment on my pics of bike with back tire in the water at a boat ramp, and they have challenged me to get both tires in the water. So here it is.....

Yes, but can you pull a boat?

Got off work today and didn't feel up to riding Lou but we needed to go by the barn and I wanted to ride so the wife and I took off on the bike. We stopped in and took care of both horses than took off for a bit of a ride. A section of the route must have received some fresh gravel as when I laid it over into a curve the front end seemed to have slid out a bit on me. But we had a nice evening and even stopped off at one of my favorite bridges then for some ice cream.

Finely feeling better. Rode the alphabets south of Durand Wi. 200+ miles. The rear tire was starting to get square. I think I fixed it...

Nice! I didn't see anything like that when I was in MN last year. I was on the interstate...

There's a very large area called the driftless area. Great riding. Tons of great roads in a triangle between Durand, Black River Fall and Prarie du Chien. Non ending supplies of good roads. How do you like your Sprint 1050?

I just got it the first of the month, so I'm just getting use to it. Went on a 360 mile trip last weekend and the last 60 miles were getting to me. The way home was much better as I learned some new seat positions to change it up a bit. Much better. No pain and I think I could have gone another hundred. I like it!

No pics yet, but got 63 laps (2.24 miles) at Pacific Raceways. Good times, my tires are done, managed to squeeze one more day outta them.
Maybe good for 300 street miles, will see.

More pics from the Dragon:

Awesome trip..

Took the GMC in today...

...I'm picking up my GS750 this after noon!!!!

Guys, I gotta ask Is there a photographer camped out at The Tail Of The Dragon? Or maybe it's like that spot on the roller coaster that snaps a pic then after the ride you walk by the booth and see your pic? Except in this case not a single person has their hands in the air.

Nice photos, Jedz.
Don't know if you have explained it already but what is up with the bungee cords on the forks?
Big trips like that I always carry back up Bungees. You never know when you might need them ;)
So I put my backups on the front forks.
