A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Took a ride to the town reservoir, parked the bike, tuned it off and heard something rustling the leaves behind me. Turned around and saw the first porcupine (other than dead on the road) I've ever seen in the wild. I thought that that was pretty cool.

Yup, fairly recent, we got married on June 23 at SunSpot NM. yeah the place that was all abuzz in the news recently lol. Met her a year and a half ago, we decided to tie the knot. My 750 was able to handle us but the mileage and age was on borrowed time and she wants to do some serious touring. I found this Can Am on Craig's list nearby and she bought it! It's a 2015 RTS, had 2,500 miles on it.

Congratulatios Bill, I quess I missed that! If she want to tour, you need to do that.

Ride after work on the parkway

Good looking bike. I still have a desire to own one of those someday.

Fall Color already -- drat!

Fall Color already -- drat!

Had been busy all week, staying with grandkids, helping brother move across state. Today first chance to take bike anywhere.

Out for coffee this morning. 40degF and predicted 50% chance of rain for next couple hours.
Took my chances.... but took bike I dont mind if gets road grime, doesnt have the rain gear, but that okay, is only about 4 miles.

Well, took my chances, and lost.
Just took the direct route home, rather than going for more of a ride.
42degF, rainy, pant legs getting wett thru, stopped for this scene.

The drive home from work for the last two evenings has been fairly soul crushing.... two plus hours yesterday - traffic due to a fatal crash- about two today. All to cover 50 miles.

Undid some of the damage tonight.

OH man that is soooo beautiful! I do miss color in the fall. Stunning.

I desperately tried to get out today as it's the last long weekend (Columbus Day) for me that will see any good weather until next year but I'm resigned to fixing part of my horse trailer instead.

Ugghhh

Another gorgeous day, Took the GS300 and Bandit out for some riding, over 150 miles on the 2 of them yesterday.

Has been nice and warm the last couple days and have been riding a Ladder 1200 the last couple days. But about 2 or 2 1/2 hours of that is enough for a day.

Today was to be another nice warm day, in the morning, and then rain in afternoon, so was faced with the choice of working in the morning to get more done, or go for ride because may be last nice day for such.
