DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Yeah, I'm really loving this motorcycle. Even the Harley folks like it. The one fellow said he likes Kawasakis, says he has a Kawasaki engine in his garden tractor! I'm liking how light it seems and so easy to handle. Its really getting its own personality, and I think it's sexy as anything. 🙂

Just thinking that thing should feel even lighter than & more nimble than my ZRX (my best lightest feeling bike). Your 900RC is appx. 50 lb. lighter @ 474 wet as opposed to my ZRX that is 487 dry. I kind'f get to dr00ling just thinking about them.

Wow are those bikes heavy....my TT600 is 414 wet....;)

Yep, should handle more like your 600 than my 1100. That's not all, your 600 & his 900 both make more H.P. than my 1100, so H.P to weight ratio....Shoot, I don't know if I'm more jealous or embarrassed.

Hey, no problem with pictures today!
Getting the motorcycles ready for summer riding!

45degF today, most snow gone so not much snow melt running across the road. Aired up the tires and got the RT out for its first ride of the year.
Rode out for a couple errands and then for about an hour ride. Stopped a couple places just to look around and .... (you can guess) take a photo or two.

Still some ice on shore and on pier.

Still ice on this bayou.

GK next (after roads completly dry and no hint of salt dust).

.

Our first real 70-degree day so ran out of the house after logging out of work. Not a lot of miles but enough to put a smile on the face. I thought the Pic of the Week game theme for this week was a generic crash and not related to the bike itself so figured I'd grab this. Yes, I was  but I like the way the rays are hitting the bike.

No pics but since it got up to 73 here today I couldn't pass up a couple of rides. First ride was 130 miles on the Triumph and the second ride was 1 hour on the old 12 speed.

Getting old sucks.
My fitness level is telling me to park the Triumph and start working out with the bicycle. I think it needs a jump start.

I was able to get out for a nice after work ride yesterday. I went to Zookies Sports Bar for their delicious Hot Wings. Then went to the Beaver County Airport for some plane watching. On my way home I stopped for some beautiful sunset pictures.

Side note: I had to crop the picture down for it to post... I think I have to adjust my camera phone settings.

I got update to watch your video...Jedz Jr gonna get the attention he needs...as well as your wife.

You'll come back..."you conservative rider".

There's nothing quite like being on a motorcycle.

You're gonna be breaking away from your usual content.

Thank you for doing what you have done.

I finally got my first ride in today. The weather was beautiful (low 70s), so I rode 50 miles on the backroads near my house. Not a lot of beautiful views, but a nice working landscape. Lots of farm fields, hay pastures, and patches of leafless woods. Also a few streams and rivers to see.

Jedz, we knew you weren't exactly right, we didn't need that video just to prove it. Congrats with everything.

Does not involve a ride (but I think youse will allow it)….

am in Florida (without bike), in an area that is miles and miles of plazas and plazas and condos and condos, and 4-5-6 lane roads. Seems all fairly new.
had a opportunity to chat with a guy that has lived here since the 1970s when this was all swamp and brush and country roads.

yep, Jacksonville area.
michigander me on left.
Indiania transplant (40+ years ago) on the right, Mr dpep.

>> later note
meet don at brown county rally 2005 and many years since. And another time in 2007 when he bought my 850g and he rode it home (bye way of other GSR rally’s in Iowa and WVirginia).
I know many folks on forum would recognize Don.

Don had reason to be nearby to where am staying, so picture is at nearby resteraunt outdoor seating area. (Don had other project going on in area, hence no bike.)
