A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

The views expressed in this forum are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of "The GSResources" or the editors.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

These guys have done great about mailing my electrical connectors to me pretty quickly after I order them. Now that I'm moving out that way, can I go to their store and buy (I see the local pickup selection but just making sure) or is still a mail only thing? I have a feeling a couple of the electrical connections I made aren't the best and may need to replace them.

Thanks.

Their store is right here in Indy. It's in a shady part of town, but they have a parts counter and the owner is there most every day. A bit rough around the edges but he knows his stuff.

I just picked up a Pacifico fairing for Steve (for Jr.) there last week. It was a little beat up, but Steve can make it work with the other parts he has and a new coat of paint, and it was only $20.

Good place. I'm one of the "regulars", so Rob does me pretty good deals when I walk in.

From Google street view:

It looks a little better than that nowadays -- the neighborhood has been gentrified a bit.

There's a large new community center on the block, and the sidewalks have been expanded, and trees added.

It's still an "interesting" neighborhood... there's a mental health clinic of some sort across the street, so the occasional raving or muttering nutter is a usual sight. They're harmless -- all they want is a cigarette...

Or parts for an old Suzuki if one of us happens to be in the neighborhood at the time said nutter is spotted. :)
