I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

GSXR Swingarm in a GS1100

Finaly got a used GSXR swingarm today. It about 3 inches longer than the GS one. Going to make some longer struts and get a longer chain. Rear axle is the same size but the pivot axle is bigger, looks like I'll just get some bushings to make it work with the smaller GS axle bolt. Or see if the bushing can be swap out.

Should have it done by next week and will see if my 60ft times fall some more.

Hopefully in a few months I'll find a 5.5 rim to stuff in there too.

Hey Jake, what kind of GSXR swingarm? I am fitting an '89 GSXR750 swinger to my '81 GS1100E, and with the pivot axle, I use the GS pivot axle, with the GS spacers, and everything works. Except I have to narrow the swingarm at the front a bit to get it between the GS frame rails. No big deal though.

All I know it's from a 91 GSXR maybe a 1100, cause a friend of mine has a 600 and his is about the same lenght as a stock GS. It's a mono swingarm and I'm going to turn it upside down and use the lugs on top near the rear axle to mount my struts. May need alittle more support or welding done here. Weigh transfer will be pushing down on top of the swingarm and it should work with no problems.

I figure alittle grinding or maybe a bottle jack will take care of that other little problem.

I got the swingarm mounted in the frame, just need to buy a chain and relocate the master cylinder due to it hitting the frame. With a few more mods I'll be able to stuff a 7 inch slick in there. If you want to see a pic of it go to my WWW button below to see it.
