I've got an '83 GS750ED that I'm doing a makeover on, rebuilt engine, new paint job, bracing the frame, got a '93 gsxr 1100 front end and works performance rear shock and want to mount up a >'98 katana rear wheel. You'd mentioned that the 93-97 cush drive hub was a better fit due to the 1" shorter profile, and that you also used a caliper from that year range.
The question that I had is what axle and spacers you used with this setup and if you've gotten around to the offset sprocket for the chain alignment? Also, does the stock rear brake master cylinder work with the katana caliper or will I also need to pick up a matching master cylinder?
My last question is not specific to the rear wheel but about the monoshock linkage. I want to replace all the bearings and bushes in the linkage and swingarm, but cant find a supplier. Anybody know of one that is reasonably priced?
