A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

The yearly 12 vs 5 seed upset just happened! High Point knocked out Wisconsin. More upsets to come.............

#1 seed Duke is in trouble trailing #16 Siena by 13 in the second half.

The Blue Devils dodged the upset bullet and survived.

And now North Carolina has left the dance..............

I of course hated to see Florida lose but Iowa has shown that their victory over them wasn't a fluke. It will be interesting to see if they can keep it up against Illinois.

Some great down to the wire games so far and some great matchups ahead. Highly unlikely but potential remains for an all Big 10 Final 4.

Caught wind of a story about a guy that has a perfect record on his bracket picks up til this weekend, he knows nothing about basketball and claims it's nothing but a fluke. Sadly I'm not finding any links

He is a 14 year old 8th grader. His perfect bracket is the Women's division.

That Connecticut win over Duke was wild. Three point shot from mid court logo for the 1 point win.

Uconn beat Illinois to take on the Winner between Arizona and Michigan for the National Championship on Monday.

Michigan is delivering a stomp off to Arizona. Michigan vs UCONN Monday night.

That 91-73 stomping (Michigan over Arizona) was almost hard to watch. You just don't expect to see a #1 seed fall apart like that.

Over in the women's final four, Marge and I will admit to a bit of satisfaction seeing UConn finally go down in flames to South Carolina 62-48. UConn was just plain getting boring, you know? And it wasn't even close; they just plain got dismantled by SC. Wild that they're having the final game today, on Easter.

My wife Marge is far more of a basketball and football fan than I am, and we've really gotten frustrated with how locked down and scattered the games are. It's really hard to find credible info on what is showing where, and we're sick of chasing games all over the place to figure out how to watch the games she wants to see. Out of all the streaming services we have, none have the men's final four, and they're not on broadcast (doubly annoying since the final four is happening right downtown less than nine miles from our living room).

However, I noticed last night that Sling now offers one-day, three-day, and seven-day streaming passes fairly cheap; I signed up for a three day pass for ten bucks so she could see the games.

I'm hoping this sort of thing spreads around; there are many times I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks to see a particular game, but I'm not interested in a long-term subscription or any of the other re-runs and "dudes yelling about sportsball" slop on a particular service.

The same thing goes for the NFL; it seems like every last package out there randomly excludes a lot of games, and you can't really predict which ones will be excluded, other than they'll probably be ones she wants to see. There's always an asterisk.

Also, MLB. We pay for a single team package, so can watch all the regular season Cubs games.
But any game that is in Atlanta or Cincinnati, they are blacked out on MLB-TV. They are considered "local" live events.

Congratulations on your National Championship Coach Dusty May (Former Murray State University assistant coach) and the Michigan Wolverines!
