A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Here's one taken quite some time ago at a small lake at the top of Kootenay Pass in what I consider my neighbourhood. I've got a very large neighbourhood. LOL.

Lousy weather for the next couple days means something from the archives again.
3? years ago at Jordan Harbour with Lake Ontario giving a Suzuki blue backdrop.
New guys, please notice the Salty Monk brake upgrade.

Here is my entry for photo of the week. The GS1000E overlooking Lake Erie. This is around Avon Lake, Ohio west of Cleveland.

So old that John had his ST and Rich's bike ran

Yeah, John's ST became an FJ a few years ago Rich's VF is alive and well. Proof. This was taken on our annual 3 national parks day ride loop last June.

"Water". Your bike on, in, over, near, under, being sprayed by, etc.
I took this picture on Oct 19, 2018, on my four-day tour of eight states (WV, KY, TN, GA, AL, SC, NC, VA). One of the reasons for the trip was to see the famous underground waterfall, Ruby Falls. This picture was somewhere along the road on that trip.

Off to Maryland!!!

I say aye...
The final wrap up hasn't been compiled yet so why not? Its not like this is politics, just good fun.

Friday

Vote Day. I dont know if rules specifically exclude entrys on Friday. My thought they are just running the chance of missing the summary (the summary is not spefied by the rules) and/or maybe missing some folks that voted already.

A good amount of submissions. Thanks for the subject-category, Rich.

....I think I got it now.
Let me know if I missed any.

I did include jedz. Rules state that Saturday thru Thursday is submission days, but I interprete that in a general manner, for 2 reasons.
1) no where does it state "have to be submitted by THurdsay midnight pacific time".
2)If did interpete that "Saturday thru THursday" literarly, then could start submitting as soon as was Saturday. If that rule were to be more specific it would have to state something like "after the theme is stated untill Thursday midnight pacific time". I think all that rule means is that submitt pics during the week.

I did include one of dpeps. Typically if more than one pic posted it is assumed the first one is the submission. But since he said neither were, I included the 2nd pic for not much more reason than because it was more obvious that was a motorcycle that was IN the water. (and a fine 1100E no less).

And I got Storm Norms attachment now showing.

voting for Jedz123. Love the mist off the water, the purple light, the graininess. It all works. Nice shot Justin.

Trevor and Bob baatfam get a lot of my attention. baatfam bike really stands out and the color of the flower really adds to it. I can imagine him looking for a place to pose the bike, oh, look, here are some flowers to match. Trevor's sunset (I assume sunset) is impressive. And in both pics I can believe the colors were what was there.

Marvinsc picture got my attention. Water in multiple different states of flowing.

Mine is good for the reflection and the sun and color. Had to pose bike behind the posts to get the sun&color in the frame.

Jedz pic is impressive. I recall seeing Jedz pic before, and specifically recall the steam off the water being the main attraction, well, other than the bike.

FOr the most interesting, maybe not the sharpest, but I'll vote for Rich. Has the the shadow and the sun thru the tress and the water from side to side and a few other interesting things that are not distractions ... and something that I like, bike parked/posed in unusual place, but the water is the main element.
