Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Pic of the week game

I almost wish I had taken a pic of my bike when I dropped it at the gas pump a few years ago, it surely would have been a winner. Actually, on second thought, glad I didn’t. I got nothin’ for this week.

Happy Friday Gang! Sorry for the delay. Didn't realize it was Friday.

Eleven good entries this week. Let's take a look and vote.

But first the theme by dpep:
"Give it the gas/petrol."

More to follow:

I am really liking the photographic value of bob baatfam and glen dorkbgr photo composition. Scott cowboy found interesting scene at a antique gas pump.

justin jedz candid pic nicely shows what often happens on a group ride at a gas stop, although this shot has bikes all pointed in same direction, usually more haphazard. The shot shows Some guys are ready to go , saying “this is suppose to be a quick gas and go stop. Will stop at a more interesting spot.”. Some guys are in conversation. Some other guys go into station to get a sandwich and a drink. Vote for Jedz.h

I like how marvinsc has orchestrated the yellows in his pic, in the signs, pumps, even the klr graphic.

Lots of great stuff here. Voting for cowboyup3371. That is just a great photo. Honorable mention to Trevor. Filling up the bike on the boat dock is not something we see every day.

Burque gets my vote this week. I like a picture that has a story behind it. Don't you just love that feeling of running on reserve in the middle of nowhere! Now that's living. 😃

Agreed and i have passed that station quite a bit myself so my vote for Burque

I like Trevor's because... it's so local. So odd. "Only in BC, eh?"

It's hard to make much of a gas stop photographically speaking, even if it's the one place everyone must stop.

The long lonesome highway in Burque73 shot says "Last Chance for Gas" to me. That is my vote this week.

I like Trevor's shot and I relate to his point about marinas. I have avoided a dry tank or two myself by making it to where the boats gas up.

But my vote this week has to go to Scott (marvinsc) for doubling down on the "Give it the gas" theme by featuring both a gasoline pump and and an outhouse. :)
...

Happy Saturday Morning! Tally time! So tally ho!

With one vote each, trevor and Jedz123
With three votes each, Burque73 and marvinsc

And with six votes for the win, Cowboyup3371.

Nice photo, Scott. What do we have next?

A verification would be nice, but it seems like a solid win to me.

Thank you all for the birthday gift (turned 50 yesterday).

As spring is finally coming to the northern hemisphere and the folks down south are enjoying their fall nights, I’m sure we are all staying out later each evening to enjoy the warm weather. So how about some night shots.
