A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

I’ll see if I can do a tally without screwing up something else.

In order of appearance:
storm 2, keerfunk 3, Eli 2
redman 4 but I disqualify my pic cuz it doesn’t have my bike after all.
burq 1, trevor 3, baatfam 1

so I say a tie at 3 between kerry kerfunk and Trevor. And we wait for a tie breaker …or I say if someone (Eli, Kerry, Rich, Bob) wants to change thier Redman vote.

I know that the rules don’t have any means of disqualifying a submission, but in this case I disqualified my own pic (cuz didn’t have my bike like I thought it had) before the summation/voting (I should have deleted it) but it got listed in the summation and got votes. My apologies to Bob for causing difficulty with the summation, and maybe for distracting votes away from his since are some similarities to our pics.

Oh dang....Got involved in something today and totally forgot this.
And very sorry Dave, thanks for doing the tally.....And sorry about the screwup on your photo....I knew I should've asked you about it, but I was in a rush.

I will change my vote to trevor, I like both photos, but will go with trevor's because I have seen kerrfunk's photo before. (Even though I do like it)

Bob, Thanks for solving our situation. I notified Trev by email, will see if we can get this train back on the track.

Trev,
Nice pic of a great scene, all those bikes lined up. A great expereince.
What you got for us next??

Hey Trev, looks like begging for votes works... Well I guess a vote is a vote!!! congrats to all and thanks for the screw ups, gives us stuff to giggle about.

//////QUOTE .....how about "farming"....anything to do with chores of a farmer.... ////////EndQUOTE

Here is one of the chores, something they have to do sometimes......

vAfcggRh.jpg

Sometimes THey have to get the equipment from one field to another. Down the road...
.... this guy down the middle of the road.

Yep, you guessed it: southern Indiania.

Brown County 2014. I think it was this occasion, that was others riding with me, After a while the tractor slowed down and went off side of road, so we could pass and someone else got a picture from behind me just as was swerving into other lane to pass.

Encountering big farm equipment on the roads down there is not uncommon.

I have pics I like better of farms or farm fields, but this pic fits better for "chores..."

Good (yawn) Morning, (yawn), GSR (yawn) - Sorry, slept in a little today....Retirement perk! ;):p

Let's review our photos and vote. But first the theme of the week by Trevor:

"farming"

And there is this weeks crop of photos....

If anything is amiss, please let us know, and don't forget to vote.;)

I'll kick of the voting this morning and go with Rich's shot. Made me think of a song from Rush. A guy sure could fit a lot of Barchettas in that barn.

Burque73. Great all round pic that captures the essence of farming and the colour of the wood and sky. It has life.
