A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Voting for gustovh because that must be really frustrating, not being able to filter.
Can't recall the last time I was stuck in traffic like that.

I like Roger's take on the subject.
Burque73 gets my vote this week.

Trevor, I couldn't imagine riding with a group that large. You guys must of split it up a little. Especially with that three wheeler in the gang. Haha

Yes it is there....:D

I’m bowing out. If I can’t get a single vote for a shot with 13 guys that I’ve known since I was a teenager riding from Canada to California….with an incredible scenery behind us….like really I’m done. I saw it in school and I’m not going to play it here good bye all

Really? You're going to stop sharing your great photos because....feelings?
Remember, this is a photo contest, not a best memory contest.
Play, have fun, don't keep score.....:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::excitement:

Happy Saturday Morning, GSR!
Let's tally up....
With one vote each, storm 64, Rich82GS70TZ, Baatfam, KiwiAlfa156, and Redman
With three votes, gustovh
And with five votes, for the win, Burque73 and his ghost riders....

What's up next, Roger?

Cool! I'm honestly surprised that shot got any votes let alone enough to win. Albaquirky's rebel riders, lol.

Not sure if being the fastest in the group is a good idea. I spend too much time looking in the mirror and don't enjoy the ride as much.

I'll have a new theme here in a few. Remember, it's just a game. Most of the shots in this thread wouldn't stand a chance in a legit photography competition.

Think of it this way, GSR pic game is to photography what the Suzuki GS is to the land speed record. My 850 won't win, but it'll be a fun ride!

I didnt vote but looked and to me your pic is more about the view with the bikes in shadow. Really not a very appealing pic. I don't mean that in a negative way or to hurt your feelings.

A bit of cropping with a slight bit of editing gives the pic a bit more of a bike group ride pic retaining the view

Here's a bird's eye view shot from last week's return from San Diego. That'll be the theme.

Bird's eye view.

This is looking over the nose of Space Suttle Independence at the Houston Space Center.
That's my motorcycle down below in the parking lot.
"Birds eye view" yep in more ways than one. 20170613_173748.jpg

Agreed. I've found that personal narrative / memories are generally difficult to visually convey to others. Personal memories attached to an image may be strong, but sometimes don't resonate with those who who weren't there when the camera was clicked.
