    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Happy Friday, GSR. Let's review our photos and vote.

First the theme of the week by Jedz123, (Justin):

"At the Pass"

OK...A whole bunch of great photos this week. I thought the theme was tough, but turnout was great. Thanks!

Hopefully all is well. Had a bit of struggle getting them together today. Let's us know if anything is amiss.

I'm voting for Scott (Marvinsc)
I like his clever take on the subject.

I was half expecting someone posting a "Pass" of a Marijuana cigarette between two people! Haha

Let's see now, which one and why? I think KiwiAlpha this week, not for the brakes, but for finding that tiny little pass between the guard rails

I also vote for marvinsc and his creative take on the theme. Every time I look at that pic of Rich's it feels like I am looking at a cover from the old Saturday Evening Post magazine--art suitable for hanging.
.

They're all good this week, but I cast my vote for Burque73. I'm a sucker for a well-constructed tunnel, and have been morbidly fascinated by Vetter Windjammers, since I was a pimply youth reading Cycle World Magazine in the 1970s.

Voting for gustovh. I read just the other day, somewhere, that when a motorcyclist places his helmet on the ground behind the bike like that, it’s a sign for others that the rider is in distress/needs assistance. Was that the case here?

No not the case, what you don’t see is Sandy’s bike behind me taking the pic. It is a habit of mine to place the helm on the ground, you might find it anywhere around my bike. Cheers…now where is that highball?

Saturday morning tally time!
Close voting but it seems to me we have a winner!

Two votes each for Kerrfunk, KiwiAlpha, Burque, and Gustovh, and a victorious three for Marvinsc’s unique take, so after somebody checks the count, congratulations, Scott!

Scott, what’s next?

I am a bit surprised, I had to improvise since I live in the flat end of Kentucky. What we have here is Water instead of mountains, this week's theme: "Water feature".
