A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
Good week...
Liked them all this week...seriously.
kerrfunk - Outstanding framing of your bike. And the sunburst does not distract.
Redman - Dave, as always, great photo. That is not the first "cow on a trailer" I've seen. Wish you did one of two things. At least parked up a bit so I can read the sign on the trailer, or backed your bike up to the trailer, like you were towing it.
steve mudoch - Nice move putting the bike at the end of the elephant line. Would they have let you pull right on the grass behind them?
Burquet73 - Hands down the creepiest gigantic animal of the bunch...ick
bccap - Is this your first entry? Anyway, I love it. Just a stunning building and statue. Makes me want to visit.
Gustovh - That fish is the same size as your bike. Did you have to jump the curb to get up there?
My two favorites are Charlie G's and Spyder's
Charlie G - Great! Funny stuff and nicely shot. That is a perspective I appreciate. It really looks like he sees a neat, shinny thing, and you are digging for your keys....LOL
Spyder - Outstanding looking bike, and it works so well with the bulldog. Very nice photo. It is like they are both guarding something, maybe the tree?
Very, very tough call, but in the end, my vote is Charlie G's Big Foot...
Dave, I keep a spreadsheet tally of the votes just because that's how I roll.
Just a thought among us friends.
The end of the year is coming, and when we get there, I propose we vote for the best picture of the year.
Problem is we will have 49 pictures and not enough voters. So here is what came up with.
Each winner picks their favorite/best winning photo starting December 22nd, and we vote on the 28th, for the overall 2018 winner.
The winner can start us off in January, if we decide to continue.
(And yes, I know Christmas is that week. We can move the date if we wish)
Just a suggest...so let's discuss. Burgue73, you started this...thoughts?
Dave, I keep a spreadsheet tally of the votes just because that's how I roll.
According to my records (which I started keeping in August)
we had nine submissions for Gigantic Animal, and fourteen people voted. Highest vote count on my record.
Highest picture count I have is 13 pictures for Unusual Place.
And multiple wins: Burque73:7, Redman:5, trevor:3, Jedz123:3, Baatfam:3
I count 17 different winners this year,
and 24 different people submitting pix.
Bob, I like the idea of favorite picture of the year, and I hope we continue next year. I enjoy the different challenge each week, and I often tell my friends about the motorcycle picture I'm taking each week.
You don't happen to have post numbers for weekly winning photos in there do you? Going back over the year will be a lengthy task.
